Soon after revealing the pricing for the new C3 Automatic, the French automaker Citroën has launched the new and updated 2024 Aircross mid-size SUV in India. This time around, the Aircross has been given a number of upgrades both inside as well as outside. The 2024 Aircross has been launched at Rs 8.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.99 lakh. It is available in both 5-seater as well as 7-seater variants.
2024 Citroën Aircross Pricing
First off, let’s talk about the pricing. Citroën is offering three variants, namely: You, Plus, and Max. The 1.2 naturally aspirated engine You and Plus variants are priced at Rs 8.49 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh. After these, there are the 1.2 turbo variants of the Plus.
The Citroën Aircross Turbo Plus manual variant is priced at Rs 11.95 lakh, while the Plus AT variant is priced at Rs 13.25 lakh. Lastly, the 1.2 Turbo Max and 1.2 Turbo AT Max have been priced at Rs 13.99 lakh. Buyers can pay an additional Rs 35,000 to opt for the 5+2 seater option.
2024 Citroën Aircross Updates: What’s New?
Starting off with the updates on the exterior of the Citroën Aircross, the company has given this value-for-money mid-size SUV LED projector headlights. It now also gets power-folding and electronically controlled ORVMs. Apart from these two changes, the exterior remains the same as the prior model.
Now, coming to the interior, the 2024 Citroën Aircross replaces the manual air conditioning with a more premium automatic climate control system. Along with this, Citroën has also added soft-touch panels around the instrument panel to increase its premium appeal. Lastly, on the inside, it also gets power window switches and new rear AC vents.
Apart from these new additions, the 2024 Aircross continues to offer the same 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen. As for the updates, it now comes with the MyCitroën Connect application, which offers 40 connectivity features. Also, the company is offering over 70 accessories as choices for Aircross buyers.
2024 Citroën Aircross Safety Features
As for the safety equipment, the 2024 Aircross comes with six airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchors. It also gets 40 safety features, including an electronic stability program (ESP), tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill hold assist.
2024 Citroën Aircross Engines
Now, coming to the engine options, the Citroën Aircross, as stated, is being offered with two petrol engine options. The first option is the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated PureTech 82 engine, which makes 81 bhp and 115 Nm of torque. It is offered with only a 5-speed manual transmission.
Apart from this, there is the option of a more powerful 1.2-litre Gen 3 PureTech Turbo engine. This motor makes 109 bhp and 205 Nm of torque. As for the transmission options, it comes with both a 6-speed manual as well as a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Citroën C3 Automatic Prices Revealed
As mentioned above, just a few days ago the company revealed the pricing of the new C3 Automatic hatchback. This model has been launched with a price tag of Rs 9.99 lakh for the base Shine variant. Apart from this, there is the Shine Vibe Pack, which is priced at Rs 10.11 lakh.
Lastly, there are the Shine Dual Tone and Shine Dual Tone Vibe Pack variants, which have been priced at Rs 10.14 lakh and Rs 10.26 lakh, respectively. As for the upgrades, the Citroën Automatic also gets the same automatic climate control system, and its main highlight is the new 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Engine options are the same as the Aircross.
