All-New 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Features Revealed Before Launch

Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of its all-new 2024 Dzire sub-compact sedan in India. The company has been testing this new model on Indian roads for a while now, and most recently, two new spy shots of this popular sedan have surfaced online. The special part about these spy shots is that they reveal the complete design details of this upcoming sedan. It can be noted that Maruti Suzuki has radically redesigned the new generation Dzire. This sedan has now been made a lot more premium.

 

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Spy Shots Reveal Design Details

Starting off at the front, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been given a brand-new front fascia. Gone is the similar-looking face as the Swift. This time around, the company has radically changed the front end to make it look very distinct and not a slightly altered Swift fascia.

It can be noted from the spy shot that the front now gets a much larger grille. It will come with six horizontal slats, which extend all the way to the bottom of the front bumper. The Suzuki emblem has been placed on the first grille slat.

Next up, we can note that the headlights have also been made a lot sleeker. They are now bejeweled with LEDs, and these appear to be LED DRLs on the lower part of the housing. Just underneath the LED headlights are LED fog lights, which get their own housing. Overall, the front fascia looks a lot more premium than before.

Side Profile

On the side profile, the biggest change that we can note is that the 2024 Dzire will come with a brand-new set of 15-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle spotted was seen wearing 15-inch 8-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels, which look very classy. Apart from this, if we move to the top, we can note the addition of a very important feature.

We can observe that this time around, the popular sub-compact sedan Dzire will come with a single-pane electric sunroof. Currently, none of its competitors offer this feature. Apart from the sunroof, we can also note that there is a shark fin antenna in the rear.

Rear End

The spy shots give us a sneak peek at the rear of the new Dzire as well. We can observe that the new sedan will get brand-new, more premium-looking LED taillights. It still gets the short boot lid, which is the signature design element of the sub-compact sedan segment. The rear bumper also appears to be completely new.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Interior Design

From the spy shots, we can see a glimpse of the interior. However, we cannot fully make out what it is going to look like. It is believed that, like the exterior, the interior of the new Dzire will also be completely revamped. The company will reportedly make it a lot more premium than before.

As per reports, the new Dzire will come with a dual-tone interior and a brand-new dashboard layout. Like all the new Maruti Suzuki models, it too will be dominated by a big touchscreen infotainment system. Most likely, all of the trims of the Dzire will get automatic climate control.

Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, and a heads-up display are some of the premium features that we can expect. Additionally, the company could also offer a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, and 6 airbags as well.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Powertrain and Pricing

Coming to the powertrain side of things, most likely the new Dzire will become the second car in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup to get the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine was introduced with the fourth generation Swift. The exact power figures for the Dzire have not been reported as of yet.

As for transmission options, the new Dzire could get a 5-speed manual transmission. It could also get a 5-speed AMT gearbox as an option. In terms of pricing, the new generation of the Dzire could start at Rs 7 lakh. Once launched, it will be competing with the Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze in India. It is believed that the launch of the Dzire will take place in October this year.
