2024 Maruti Dzire LXI Base Variant: What You Get At Rs. 6.79 Lakh [Video]

Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the fourth-generation Dzire in India. This new model has been launched with a price tag of Rs 6.79 lakh and goes up to Rs 10.14 lakh. So far, we have seen a number of videos showing the top-spec ZXI+ variant of this sub-compact sedan. However, recently, a video showing the base LXI variant of the new Dzire in detail has been shared online.

This video showing the fourth-generation Dzire LXI variant has been shared on YouTube by The Car Show on their channel. It starts with the vlogger showing this particular Dzire LXI variant at a Maruti Suzuki dealership lot. He then starts by mentioning the pricing, which is Rs 6.79 lakh for this base variant.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire LXI Walkaround

Following this, the vlogger then starts with the exterior walkaround of the Dzire. He mentions that at the front, unlike the top-spec variant, which gets a gloss black grille, the base LXI variant gets a matte black grille along with halogen-based projector headlights.

There are also halogen turn indicators and parking lights as well. The host highlights that the base-spec variant also misses out on fog lights. Next up, he then shows the side profile of the new Dzire LXI. He mentions that the sedan comes equipped with 14-inch steel wheels.

Apart from these, the ORVMs are also finished in matte black and are manually operable. He highlights that, unlike the top-spec models, the turn indicators are located on the right fender. Next up, the vlogger then shows the roof of the car, which misses out on a sunroof but gets a shark fin antenna.

Finally, he moves to the rear end of the vehicle. At the rear, the new Dzire LXI gets the same LED tri-arrow-shaped taillights. However, the chrome line beneath these taillights is missing, and it has been replaced by a matte black piece. He mentions that Maruti is still offering the base model with the lip spoiler, which adds to the sporty appearance.

Following the exterior walkaround, the vlogger then shows the interior of the Dzire LXI. He starts by showing the driver-side door card. It comes with all four power windows and a fabric cushion for hand rest; apart from this, the dual-tone door card is finished in hard plastic.

Next up, he gives a detailed look at the dashboard of the Dzire. The dual-tone black and beige dashboard with grey highlights looks good. Sadly, it misses out on an infotainment system, which the top-spec variants come with.

The vlogger then shows the flat-bottom steering wheel, the instrument gauge cluster with a small MID screen, and a button for traction control and auto start-stop. He then shows the air conditioning system, which appears to be automatic, but it is a digital manual air conditioning system.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire LXI Engine

Following the interior, the vlogger then shows the engine bay of the Dzire. He states that the new Dzire now comes with the Z-Series Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine. This is the same motor that is used in the new Swift. It makes 81 PS of power and 111 Nm of torque.

He explains that the base LXI variant only comes with the 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the more expensive variants come with an optional 5-speed AGS AMT gearbox. Finally, he mentions that the company is also offering the new Dzire with a CNG kit. However, it is only available for private vehicle buyers, and fleet car owners cannot buy the CNG Dzire at the moment.
