Tata Motors will soon be launching the newly facelifted Punch micro-SUV in India. This time around, the company is adding a number of new premium features to this SUV. Tata Motors is doing this to keep its top-selling SUV hot amid increasing competition. Recently, the brochure of the Tata Punch facelift was leaked online. It gives us details of all the features that have been added to this popular micro-SUV.
Tata Punch Variant Wise Details: Pure Variant
The new Punch facelift will also have the Pure variant as its base trim. It will come equipped with dual airbags for the driver and front passenger, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and rear parking sensors. It will also get ISOFIX child seat mounts.
The Pure variant will also feature front power windows, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, and a 4-inch digital cluster for essential driver information. Other features will include Idle Start-Stop (ISS) for better fuel efficiency and the very popular 90-degree door openings. It will also get a flat rear floor and LED indicators integrated into the ORVMs.
Pure (O) Variant
The second variant in the lineup will be the Pure (O) variant. On top of the features offered in the Pure trim, it will add full power windows and central remote locking with a flip key. It will also come with electrically adjustable ORVMs. Lastly, this variant will get wheel covers, which will not be offered in the base variant of the Punch.
Adventure Variant
Next up, we will have the Adventure variant, which will get some significant upgrades in infotainment and comfort features. The Punch Adventure will include a floating 8.89 cm infotainment system paired with 4 speakers. This variant will also offer steering-mounted controls, an anti-glare IRVM, all-power windows, central remote locking, and electrically adjustable ORVMs. There will also be body-colored ORVMs and door handles.
Adventure Rhythm Variant
Adding to the list of features on the Adventure trim, the Adventure Rhythm variant will get a larger 17.78 cm touchscreen infotainment unit by Harman. This system will also support wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There will also be the addition of a reverse parking camera.
Adventure Sunroof Variant
Next up, we will have the Adventure Sunroof variant. This trim includes all the features of the Adventure trim but adds a single-pane electric sunroof. It will also boast a grand console with an armrest, rear AC vents, automatic headlamps, and rain-sensing wipers. Roof rails and a shark fin antenna will also be included in this variant.
Adventure + Sunroof Variant
The Adventure + Sunroof variant combines the sunroof with additional tech enhancements. It will include a floating 17.78 cm Harman infotainment system, reverse parking camera, and wired Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. The push-button start/stop feature with PEPS (Passive Entry Passive Start), A-type and fast C-type USB ports, and a rear wiper and wash are added to the list.
Accomplished + Variant
Now coming to the more equipped variants, we will have the Accomplished + variant. It will come with an even larger screen of 26.03 cm, which will offer wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. This trim will also introduce fully automatic climate control and projector headlamps for enhanced visibility, along with LED DRLs and LED tail lamps.
There will also be a push-button start/stop button, driver seat height adjustment, cruise control (available in both petrol and CNG variants), and 15-inch Hyper Style wheels. Additional practical features will include a cooled glovebox, rear defogger, one-touch driver window, and front A and rear A-type USB ports.
Accomplished + Sunroof Variant
The Accomplished + Sunroof variant retains all the features of the Accomplished + variant but introduces an electric sunroof.
Creative + Variant
Lastly, we will have the top-of-the-line Creative + variant, which will come with several premium features. The list will include wireless charging for smartphones, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, auto-folding ORVMs, and iTPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System).
On the outside, it will also get roof rails, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and puddle lamps. Lastly, it will also come with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, along with the leather-wrapped rear seat armrest.
Creative + Sunroof Variant
Lastly, there will be the top-spec Creative + Sunroof variant. It combines all the premium features of the Creative + variant with the addition of an electric sunroof.
Powertrain Options
The 2024 Tata Punch Petrol facelift will feature the same 1.2-litre Revotron engine. This is a three-cylinder unit that makes 87.8 PS of power and 115 Nm of torque. Buyers will be able to choose between a 5-speed manual transmission and an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT).
