We will all witness the amazing 2025 Bharat Mobility Auto Expo next month in January. At this mega automotive event, a number of major automakers will be bringing their new cars. Of these, some names will be Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai Motor India Limited, Mahindra Automotive, and many others. Now, if you want to know which of the big cars will be launched, here are all the details:
Kia Syros
The South Korean automotive giant Kia India recently showcased its newest sub-compact SUV, the Syros, in India. This new model will slot in between the Seltos and the Sonet. It has been designed to provide more space inside, which has been the biggest pain point for sub-compact SUV buyers in India. It boasts a unique tallboy design, which many believe looks quirky, while others think it looks futuristic.
It gets vertically stacked LED headlights, a clean front grille, unique 17-inch alloy wheels, L-shaped LED taillights, and other unique design touches. On the inside, it gets a massive 30-inch Trinity panoramic display, a panoramic sunroof, a two-spoke steering wheel, ventilated front and rear seats, and more. This new SUV will officially be launched next month, and it is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 9.7 to 16.5 lakh.
Mahindra BE 6
Mahindra Automotive has shaken the entire country with the unveiling of its newest electric SUV, the BE 6. Now, finally, next month, the company will be revealing the complete pricing and variant details. So far, we only know that the pricing of the BE 6 will start from Rs 18.9 lakh. It will come equipped with a powerful electric drivetrain making 282 bhp and 380 Nm of torque.
This unique and futuristic EV will be offered with two battery pack options — 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The range will be 535 km and 682 km, respectively. As for features, it will come with a cockpit-like cabin, a massive connected touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument gauge cluster panel, a VisionX augmented reality head-up display, automatic parking, ambient lighting on the glass panoramic roof, and many more.
Mahindra XEV 9E
Along with the complete pricing details of the BE 6, Mahindra will also be launching the XEV 9E in India. The company, at the moment, has only revealed that it will start at Rs 21.9 lakh. The Mahindra XEV 9E will also get the same powertrain and battery pack options — 59 kWh and 79 kWh. As for range, it will be 542 km and 656 km, respectively.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The country’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, will also be launching its first-ever electric vehicle the e Vitara at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo. A few years ago, the company showed the concept of this SUV, called the eVX, and now, finally, the production version, which looks very similar to the concept, will be launched. The eVitara will be offered with two battery pack options — 49 kWh and 61 kWh — with a driving range of 450–500 km. It will be based on Maruti Suzuki’s Heartect-e skateboard platform.
Hyundai Creta EV
Another highly anticipated launch that will take place next month will be the Hyundai Creta EV. This new mass-market electric SUV from Hyundai will be launched in the price range of Rs 20-25 lakh. Reportedly, it will be offered with a 45 kWh battery pack offering a range of 450 km. It will also offer 138 bhp of power and 255 Nm of torque with its single electric motor.
Tata Harrier EV
Last but not least, another major launch will be the Tata Harrier EV. The country’s largest electric carmaker, Tata Motors, will be officially launching the new Harrier EV in the range of Rs 25-30 lakh. It will be offered with a battery in the range of 60-80 kWh, and its driving range will be around 500 km.
