Mahindra is one of the leading SUV manufacturer in India and recently they have unveiled their new electric vehicles in the market too. This year, Mahindra launched their much awaited Thar 5-d79oor or Roxx as we know it now. We also saw the XEV 9E and BE 6 electric SUV. The year 2024 is about to end and it looks like Mahindra is already prepared for the next year. Here we have a list of 5 Mahindra SUVs that are launching in 2025.
BE 6
Mahindra initially named the electric SUV BE 6E and later due to issues with Indigo airlines they had to rename it as BE 6E. While we know the official starting price of the Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV. We have no information about the higher variants and pricing. Mahindra will be revealing the variants and pricing of this electric SUV in January during the Bharat Mobility Expo.
Official bookings for the BE 6 would start sometime in January and the deliveries would also begin by February. The BE 6 is offered with 59kWh unit and a 79kWh battery pack. The smaller battery pack variant generates 228 Bhp while the 79 kWh battery option generates 281 Bhp. Starting price for Mahindra BE6 is Rs 18.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
XEV 9E
Just like the BE6, Mahindra will also be unveiling all the variants of XEV 9E variants at the expo next month. We would also get to the pricing of the higher variants after official launch. Coming to the details, it is also powered by the same battery pack as the BE 6. Mahindra will initially be launching the SUV with RWD but an AWD version is expected to come soon. Starting price for the XEV 9E is Rs 21.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
XUV 3XO EV
Mahindra launched the updated XUV 3XO in the market earlier this year. After the launch of the ICE version, we have also seen a camouflaged electric version of the XUV 3XO. It is expected to be an updated version of the XUV 400 EV which is already on sale in India.
We expect the EV to get ICE version like design changes to make the electric SUV look similar to other EVs from Mahindra family. The SUV has been spotted testing several times and it is expected to get launched in the first quarter of 2025.
Thar Roxx Petrol 4×4
Mahindra as we know launched the Roxx in the market earlier this year and deliveries for the same have also started. Mahindra is only offering 4×4 as an option with some of the variants. The 4×4 is currently available with diesel engine option only. However, there is a possibility that Mahindra might introduce a smaller 1.5 litre diesel engine and a petrol 4×4 variant might get introduced later next year.
XUV700 facelift
Mahindra launched the XUV700 in 2021 and it has been a successful product in the manufacturers portfolio since then. It has been in the market for almost 3 years and it is due for an update. Mahindra is expected to update the SUV with minor cosmetic changes to help it retain the fresh look. It will continue to get petrol and diesel engine options with manual and automatic transmission option.
