Tata has become one of the leading car manufacturers in India and they are expanding their lineup with new products. They have a variety of electric and ICE vehicles in their portfolio. They are working on several new products, and some of them are expected to be launched later this year. Here are 5 new Tata SUVs that will be launched in the market soon.

Harrier.ev

The first car on the list is an electric vehicle. Tata has been working on the Harrier.ev for quite some time, and we finally got to witness the production-ready version of the Harrier.ev earlier this year at the Auto Expo. We saw the same in motion at Tata’s plant in Pune.

Tata has hinted that the product is almost ready, and we can expect the launch anytime soon. The Harrier.ev is expected to be launched in the market in the coming months. When launched, it would be the most powerful electric SUV in its segment.

Tata is expected to offer 60 kWh and 75 kWh battery pack options with the EV. The bigger battery version will generate 350 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque. It will also be offered with AWD, which will be a segment-first feature. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 30 lakh.

Sierra

The Sierra concept that Tata showcased years ago is finally turning into a reality, and the manufacturer is working on both the ICE and EV versions of the SUV. They are bringing back the iconic SUV Sierra in a new avatar.

The SUV is likely to get a boxy design, as seen in the almost production-ready version showcased at the Expo earlier this year.

Tata is expected to offer a floating-type large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, electrically adjustable seats, leatherette upholstery, seat ventilation, multi-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2+ ADAS, and more. It will come with both petrol and diesel engine options. Tata is expected to launch the Sierra towards the end of 2025.

Sierra EV

The Sierra EV will get the same design as the ICE version of the SUV, with minor EV-specific changes. It will come with a closed front grille, EV branding, alloy wheels with aero curtains, and so on.

As of now, there is no clarity about the battery pack options, but we assume that Tata might offer the same 75 kWh battery pack with the SUV, which could offer a 500 km range. The electric SUV is expected to come with both single and dual-motor options. The Sierra EV is expected to be launched next year after the launch of the ICE version.

Safari EV

After Tata launches the Harrier.ev, they will also bring the electric version of their current flagship SUV Safari to the market. The Safari EV will be based on the ICE version but with a heavily modified platform to accommodate EV-specific changes.

We expect two battery pack options for the Safari EV. Tata might offer medium-range and long-range variants, as they do with most of their EV lineup. It will then become the most expensive electric SUV from Tata after its launch.

It might also be the most powerful electric SUV in its segment. The electric SUV is expected to generate power similar to the upcoming Harrier EV, which is estimated to produce 350 PS and 500 Nm of peak torque.

Curvv CNG

Next on the list is the Curvv CNG. The SUV was launched last year and is currently available in petrol, diesel, and electric versions. The Curvv CNG has been spotted testing a couple of times, and it is expected to be launched in the market soon. The Curvv iCNG will compete with the likes of the Grand Vitara CNG.

It will come with twin-cylinder technology, which could offer the convenience of CNG without compromising boot space. There is a possibility that Tata will only offer the CNG with the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which is available in the lower variants.

This engine is used in the Nexon as well. In the Nexon iCNG, this engine generates 99 bhp and 170 Nm of peak torque. Tata might offer the CNG with both manual and automatic transmission options.
