Kia Syros
The first and newest sub-compact SUV in the market is the Kia Syros. This unique tall-boy SUV sits between the Seltos and Sonet and has been designed to suit the needs of family car buyers. It also comes loaded with features such as a 30-inch Trinity panoramic display, ventilated front and rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, a unique dashboard layout, and many others. It gets the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel as the Sonet.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV
Next up is the Mahindra XUV 3XO EV. This new model will be replacing the XUV400 EV. It will boast the exact same exterior and interior design as the ICE model. Also, this particular vehicle is expected to come with two battery pack options. The first will be a 34.5 kWh unit offering 375 km, and the second will be a 39.4 kWh battery pack offering 456 km of range on a single charge.
Renault Kiger facelift
The Renault Kiger is one of the most value-for-money sub-compact SUVs in the market. Unfortunately, it has not been given any significant update till now. However, Renault has now taken note of this, and it will be launching the Kiger facelift this year. This time around, it will feature a number of cosmetic upgrades and will also get a few new features as well. Powertrain options of 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.0-litre turbo petrol will remain the same.
Volkswagen Taigun facelift
Volkswagen has been launching a number of different iterations of its popular SUV, the Taigun, in the country. However, it is now gearing up for the launch of the Taigun facelift. As part of this update, the model is set to receive a set of new bumpers, alloy wheels, new LED headlights, and taillights. It will also get a panoramic sunroof, ADAS Level 2, and many other features. Powertrain options of the 1.0-litre TSI engine and 1.5-litre TSI engine will remain the same.
Hyundai Venue new generation
Most of the sub-compact SUV rivals of the Hyundai Venue have been given facelifts. This year, Hyundai is set to bring the new generation of the Venue, which will boast a brand-new exterior design, new alloy wheels, and a brand-new interior design as well. It will also get a ton of features, including a panoramic sunroof, ADAS Level 2, ventilated seats, a bigger infotainment system, and others. Engine options will remain the same.
Skoda Kushaq facelift
Like its parent brand Volkswagen, Skoda India is also gearing up for the launch of the Kushaq facelift. As part of the facelift, the Kushaq will get a new front bumper, new sleeker LED headlights, new alloy wheels, and a new rear bumper. It will also get a panoramic sunroof, ADAS Level 2, and a few more features on the inside. Powertrain options will remain the same as the current model.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx facelift
The crossover SUV Fronx from Maruti Suzuki will also be getting a facelift this year. It will come with a new front fascia and rear-end design. However, apart from the cosmetic upgrades, the main highlight will be its new hybrid drivetrain. The new Fronx facelift will be getting a series hybrid powertrain. Unlike the traditional hybrid setup, in a series hybrid setup, the engine acts as a generator and charges the battery pack, while the wheels are powered by an electric motor.
