It was said that the actress, over 10 years ago, was denied a Rolls Royce luxury car. However, recently, the actress debunked this rumor and revealed the truth.
The truth behind the rumor
While talking to popular television and movie actress Mandira Bedi on her talk show “The Love Laugh Live Show,” Mallika Sherawat was asked if she was really denied a Rolls Royce car. Following this question, she revealed what actually happened. The popular Bollywood actress stated, “What!? I mean, it’s just a rumor. I don’t know, what is the rumor? I really don’t know.”
She elaborated that there was nothing like that which happened, and she was never denied a Rolls Royce. Speaking up about the actual issue, the actress stated, “Oh my God, there is this one particular journalist. He lives in Patna or somewhere, and he is always writing nonsense about me, which is not true. Because he wants gifts, and I refuse to indulge in such behavior.” She states that over the years, this journalist has shared numerous rumors about her.
Mallika Sherawat and Rolls Royce cars
Over the last few years, the actress has been spotted around multiple Rolls Royce models. Most of these pictures are from when the actress was out of India for shoots and vacations. In one picture, the actress was seen opening the door of a black-colored Rolls Royce Dawn.
For those who may not be aware, the Dawn is the topless version of the Wraith two-door sports sedan and was one of the most popular convertibles sold by the brand. Sadly, earlier this year, the British luxury automaker pulled the plug on the Dawn. This was in order to make room for the newly launched Rolls Royce Spectre, the brand’s first-ever EV coupe sedan.
Prior to this, Mallika Sherawat was once also seen standing inside a Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead convertible. This particular car was finished in a shade of silver, and the actress was seen standing with the suicide door open.
Prior to the launch of the Dawn, the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead convertible was the brand’s only convertible offering. It was powered by a massive 6.8-litre supercharged V12 engine that made over 460 bhp and 720 Nm of torque.
Mallika Sherawat’s Lamborghini Aventador SV
The actress may not own a Rolls Royce; however, she owns something that is way cooler. Mallika Sherawat owns a super exclusive and expensive Lamborghini Aventador SV. This supercar is one of the loudest and most flamboyant cars of all time.
It comes powered by a 6.5-litre V12 petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 740 Bhp and 690 Nm of torque, which is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed semi-automatic gearbox. The Aventador Super Veloce can do 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 350 km/h.
