Famous people who love the new Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E
First on the list of celebrities who want to buy the newly launched BE 6 and XEV 9E is none other than Shark Tank India fame and CEO of Shaadi.com, Anupam Mittal. He recently shared a tweet in which he mentioned that, while other automakers are trying to lure in more EV buyers with the cost of ownership, Mahindra has reinvented the game of EVs with these new SUVs.
He also highlighted that these SUVs are highly desirable, aspirational, and affordable. Apart from Anupam, at the final launch event of the BE 6 and XEV 9E, Veejay Nakra stated that Bollywood celebrities like Ajay Devgn and his wife, popular actress Kajol, have showcased their interest in getting these SUVs.
In addition to these celebs, popular cricketer Virender Sehwag and Morgan Stanley Investment Bank’s CEO, Ridham Desai, have also asked him when they can buy these born-electric SUVs. Apart from these, numerous automotive enthusiasts and the general public have also shown a lot of interest in these SUVs.
John Abraham test drove the BE 6 and XEV 9E
Recently, the super-popular Bollywood actor John Abraham was also given test drives of both the BE 6 and XEV 9E. These SUVs were delivered to his home, from where he went to test drive both of them. After returning from the drive, he shared his experience.
The actor highlighted that both of these SUVs are absolutely incredible when it comes to driving. He also added that they both look extremely futuristic, and his personal favorite is the BE 6. John Abraham also mentioned that the sheer number of features in these SUVs is mind-blowing and that he can see himself in them.
Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E: Pricing
Mahindra Automotive has finally revealed the complete pricing details of the BE 6 and XEV 9E. The BE 6 will start at Rs 18.9 lakh and will go all the way up to Rs 26.90 lakh. Meanwhile, the XEV 9E will start at Rs 21.9 lakh and go up to Rs 30.5 lakh.
Both of these SUVs will be offered with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery pack options. The BE 6 with the 59 kWh battery pack offers 535 km of range. Meanwhile, with the 79 kWh battery pack, it offers 682 km. The XEV 9E, on the other hand, with the 59 kWh battery pack, provides 542 km of range and 656 km with the 79 kWh battery pack.
Mahindra is offering both of these SUVs in the base variants with an electric motor capable of making 228 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the higher-spec variants make 282 bhp and 382 Nm of torque.
