With the festive season approaching, several manufacturers have announced interesting discounts, benefits and savings on various sedan models. These price revisions only add to the value offered and are not to be missed. Here are the top discounts on popular sedans for this festive season:
Volkswagen Virtus
The Volkswagen Virtus sedan has been booming in acceptance to now become one of the most popular sedans in the country. This sedan holds a 5-star NCAP safety rating and comes with two turbocharged petrol engine options- 1.0L TSI and 1.5 TSI. Buyers also get to choose between manual and DSG gearboxes, depending on the variant.
The Virtus is currently priced in the Rs. 10.90 – 19.41 lakh range (ex-showroom). Festive season discounts of up to 1.2 lakh are now available on these prices, varying slightly across variants. The beefier 1.5 TSI version is available with discounts of up to 75,000 while up to 1.2 lakh is available on the 1.0 TSI version. These benefits include exchange and loyalty bonuses.
Skoda Slavia
Like the Virtus, the Skoda Slavia also gets price benefits of 1.2 lakh. These festive season discounts include exchange and loyalty bonuses. Benefits are available on both 1.0 and 1.5 variants.
Honda City
The City is a hugely popular model in the sedan space. Honda currently sells the 5th generation City and the hybrid version, in India. Discounts are available on both of these models. On the standard City, 1.14 lakh of savings are available on the SV, V, VX, Elite and ZX variants. This includes cash discounts, exchange bonuses and corporate schemes. Additionally, a 3-year/ 30,000 km free service package can also be had. On the City e, a cash discount of Rs 90,000 can be availed.
Honda Amaze
The Amaze is currently the most affordable Honda in India. The compact sedan is due for an update soon. It is now available with cash savings of 1.12 lakh on E, S, VX and Elite trims- including cash discounts, exchange bonuses and corporate schemes. Like the larger sedan, 3 year/30k km service package can also be had.
Hyundai Aura
The Aura is the Xcent replacement from the Korean carmaker. It is available with a 1.2 Kappa petrol and CNG powertrains. This ‘currently not so popular’ sedan is now available with benefits of up to 43,000 on CNG variants. This includes a corporate discount of Rs 3000, an exchange bonus of Rs. 10,000, and a cash discount of Rs. 30,000. Special schemes can be availed by pensioners.
The regular petrol Aura gets total benefits of Rs 23,000- including cash discounts (Rs. 10,000), exchange bonus (Rs. 10,000) and corporate discount (Rs. 3000). Key rivals to the Aura are the Amaze and the DZire.
Hyundai Verna
The new Hyundai Verna is a popular pick these days. It is available with 2 engine options- 1.5 NA petrol and 1.5 turbo petrol. Both automatic and manual versions exist. The sedan offers total savings of up to 45,000 in September 2024. This includes cash discounts of Rs. 25,000 and another Rs. 20,000 in exchange bonus.
Maruti Ciaz
The Ciaz is nearly a forgotten name these days. However, it continues to offer ample value for the price. The total possible savings on Maruti Ciaz for corporate customers amount to Rs 43,000. There is, however, a catch! A consumer offer of Rs 10,000 is applicable to all variants. Further, an exchange bonus of 25,000 and a corporate bonus of Rs 3000 can also be availed. A scrappage bonus of Rs 30,000 also apply to the sedan.
Maruti DZire
The Dzire is extremely popular in India and is due for a major generational update. Maruti Suzuki is offering a total savings of Rs 25,000 on the manual variants and 30,000 on the automatic variants. These include both consumer offers and exchange bonuses.
