The Japanese automotive giant, Honda Cars India, recently celebrated the anniversary of its popular compact SUV, the Elevate, in India. To commemorate the successful year-long stint of the Elevate in India, Honda has launched a brand-new Elevate Apex Edition in the country. This new model is available in two mid-spec variants: V and VX. Recently, a video walkaround of the new Honda Elevate Apex Edition was shared online.
This in-depth, detailed walkaround video of the Honda Elevate has been shared on YouTube by Atharva Dhuri on their channel. It starts with the vlogger showing the new Honda Elevate Apex Edition parked inside a Honda dealership. Following this, he states that the Apex Edition is only offered on the V and VX mid-spec variants of the Elevate.
Honda Elevate Apex Edition Pricing
Following the introduction, the vlogger mentions that this particular car is finished in the flagship Obsidian Blue color. After this, he first talks about the pricing of the Honda Elevate Apex Edition. He states that this new Apex Edition comes in four variants, namely: V (MT), V (CVT), VX (MT), and lastly VX (CVT).
Honda has priced the V (MT) variant at Rs 12.86 lakh and the V (CVT) at Rs 13.86 lakh. As for the VX (MT) variant, it has been priced at Rs 14.25 lakh, and Rs 15.25 lakh for the VX (CVT) variant. Following this, he points out that this particular car is the VX (CVT) variant.
Honda Elevate Apex Edition: What Has Changed?
After talking about the pricing, the vlogger then starts showing the exterior design of the Honda Elevate Apex Edition. He starts at the front and mentions that it looks identical to the standard Elevate. However, it gets a high-gloss black lower front splitter and matte black cladding.
Following this, he states that it also gets the standard LED headlights with LED DRLs. Next, the vlogger shows the side profile of the car. He states that the same 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels are offered in the Elevate Apex Edition like the standard model.
The only main highlight on the side profile is the addition of matte black door moldings and gloss black side skirts. Also, there are Apex Edition badges on both the front fenders of the SUV. Finally, he goes around to show the rear of the car. The Elevate Apex Edition comes with a gloss black rear diffuser with fake silver exhaust vents.
Honda Elevate Apex Edition: Interior Details
After showing the complete exterior design of the Honda Elevate Apex Edition, the vlogger then provides a detailed look at the interior of the SUV. The biggest change on the inside of the Apex Edition Elevate is the use of ivory color for the upholstery instead of the tan color on the standard model.
Apart from this, the SUV also comes with two Apex Edition embossed pillows. He also shows the blue ambient lighting added to the doors and the dashboard of the car, which makes it look more premium. Apart from this, the model comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, automatic climate control, and a single-pane electric sunroof.
Honda Elevate Apex Edition: Powertrain
Honda has not changed anything under the bonnet of the Elevate Apex Edition. This means that it still comes powered by the same 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. This motor makes 121 bhp of peak power and 145 Nm of peak torque. As mentioned, it comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and an optional CVT gearbox.
