Kicking off Honda’s splash for this year’s festive season, a special edition of the Japanese automaker’s best selling car is here. The Honda Elevate Apex Edition has just launched at a starting price of Rs. 12.86 lakh, which is about Rs. 15,000 more than the standard Elevate. The Elevate Apex Edition is available across the V and VX variants of the SUV, at a similar price mark up of Rs. 15,000. Here’s a quick video that depicts all changes on the Honda Elevate Apex Edition.
Coming to the changes on the Apex Edition of the Honda Elevate, there are 9 key bits that are new. On the outside, the front bumper gets a piano black under spoiler with a silver accent while the sides also get piano black inserts under the running boards. The rear bumper gets a piano black garnish and chrome inserts. Then there’s Apex Edition badging on the fenders, and a Apex Edition emblem on the hatch lid.
On the inside, the colour scheme has gone dual-tone with a ivory and black shade. The door trims get leatherette finish and so does the dashboard, and these changes make the Elevate Apex Edition’s interiors more luxurious than before. There’s a 7 colour ambient light feature that’s added while the seats get new covers, in an ivory shade and Apex Edition branding. Honda is also offering ivory coloured seat cushions to round off the interiors of the Elevate’s Apex Edition.

Mechanically, nothing has changed. Then Honda elevate continues to use the 1.5 liter iVTEC, 4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with 119 Bhp of peak power and 145 Nm of peak torque. While a 5 speed manual is standard, a CVT automatic gearbox with 7 stepped shifts is offered as an option. The CVT variants get paddle shifters. The engine-gearbox combination is smooth, fuel efficient, and is a tried-and-tested option with a reputation for excellent reliability and years of fuss free performance.
The Honda Elevate is a front wheel driven SUV with butch styling and a hefty 220 mm of ground clearance. The biggest advantage of the Elevate is its ride quality, which is exemplary. Honda’s engineers have managed to hit the sweet spot with the Elevate’s suspension, and the SUV simply devours bad roads while keeping its passengers in comfort. Handling is sharp, too. All in all, the Elevate is a great SUV for both corner carving as well as exploration – a rare combination that requires suspension wizardry at a very high level.
The Honda Elevate is an under-rated car that definitely deserves to sell more, and the latest special edition could do its bit to make the SUV more attractive to buyers. Meanwhile, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. had this to say,
The Elevate has been instrumental to our success, significantly contributing to our domestic sales and exports. The festive season in India has begun and we are thrilled to introduce the attractively priced new Apex Edition of the Honda Elevate, boasting enhanced interiors for superior cabin experience, combined with new bold exterior elements that elevate its dynamic and stylish appeal. With this new edition, we look forward to welcoming more customers into the Honda family.
Honda’s next big move for the Elevate
Honda is working on an electric powertrain for the Elevate SUV. The Elevate EV is expected to make a debut in 2026. A facelifted version of the SUV is also expected to be introduced in 2026, along with the electric version.
