Honda Elevate, Amaze And City Available With Discounts Of Upto Rs. 1.2 Lakh

To push the sales of its popular models in India, the Japanese automotive giant Honda Cars India is offering significant discounts. These benefits are being offered on popular models including the Elevate mid-size SUV, City and City e:HEV mid-size sedan, and the newly launched sub-compact sedan Amaze third generation. Here are the details of these benefits.
Currently the only SUV on offer from Honda, the Elevate is being offered with the highest discount of Rs 1.2 lakh. It has to be noted that this is the maximum discount available and will be offered on the manual trims of the Elevate. Benefits being offered on the automatic variants will differ and depend upon the region and dealership stock.
The Honda Elevate currently starts at Rs 11.91 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 16.93 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Signature Black Edition model. It comes with a single engine option of a 1.5-litre i-VTEC, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with 119 bhp of peak power and 145 Nm of torque. While a 5-speed manual is standard, a CVT automatic gearbox is offered as an option.
Now coming to the City, which is one of the most popular sedans that has been in the market for a long time, it is also getting a significant benefit of Rs 1.07 lakh. The exact list of variants getting this massive discount has not been mentioned. However, most likely it will depend on the dealership basis.
Also, it has to be noted that the Rs 1.07 lakh is not a cash discount. It will be a mix of cash and exchange benefits. The Honda City starts at Rs 12.38 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.64 lakh. Like the Elevate, it also comes equipped with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It also makes 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque.
Although not as much as the standard City, the City e:HEV, which is the hybrid version, is getting benefits up to Rs 65,000. The exact details of the benefits will be provided by the dealerships. The City e:HEV is only offered in the top-of-the-line ZX variant and it is priced at Rs 20.85 lakh.
It comes equipped with the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and two electric motors. Combined, the Honda City e:HEV produces 126 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. It only comes mated to a CVT gearbox.
Last but not least, the newly launched Honda Amaze third generation is also being offered with some discounts and benefits. It has to be noted that although there are no cash or exchange bonuses, there are corporate and loyalty offers. These offers will also depend upon the dealership.
The new generation Amaze starts at Rs 8.09 lakh and goes up to Rs 11.19 lakh. As for the engine, it gets a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine making 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox.
