Hyundai is offering discounts worth Rs 90,000 on both petrol and diesel engine options. The Alcazar is available in both 6- and 7-seater configurations. The Alcazar is essentially an extended version of Hyundai’s star SUV, the Creta. The current version of the Alcazar has been in the market for a few years now. Get in touch with the nearest Hyundai dealership to learn more about the discounts and other offers.

Last month, an almost production-ready version of the Alcazar was spotted at a petrol pump right outside the Hyundai factory. The Alcazar is expected to be launched in the market in the coming months. Like the current version, the upcoming Alcazar will also borrow design elements from the current Creta.

From the spy pictures, it is evident that the Alcazar will get a connecting LED DRL, similar to the Creta. The front grille will also undergo a major redesign. The split headlamp setup can be seen on the front bumper, with LED headlamps. The design of the bumper is expected to differ from that of the Creta.

The alloy wheels on the upcoming Alcazar are different from the older version. Similarly, a redesigned tail lamp with all-LED elements and a connecting LED bar can also be expected. Hyundai cars are known for offering premium features, and the Alcazar is no exception.

The SUV seen here will offer premium features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable driver and co-passenger seats, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, premium leatherette upholstery, an option for captain seats in the second row, and many more.

Like the Creta, Hyundai is expected to offer the new Alcazar with ADAS. This includes features like forward collision warning and avoidance assist, blind-spot collision warning and avoidance assist, and lane-keep assist. It will also get driver attention warning, lane-following assist, leading vehicle departure alert, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, surround view monitor, and blind-spot view monitor.

As for engine options, Hyundai won’t be making any changes. It will be offered with the same set of petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol engine is a 1.5-litre turbo unit that generates 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque.

This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox option. The diesel engine on the Alcazar is also a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit that generates 115 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine is also available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission option. With all these changes and feature updates, the Hyundai Alcazar will become more expensive, and the SUV will compete with the likes of the Kia Carens, which is also up for a facelift.
