The company has shared a detailed TVC showing the much-anticipated Creta Electric SUV. Hyundai Creta Electric: What’s New?
The Hyundai Creta Electric might look very similar to the ICE model to an untrained eye. However, in reality, the South Korean auto giant has given it a ton of unique design elements and features.
New Design
First off, let’s talk about the exterior design of the new Hyundai Creta Electric. This new EV SUV comes equipped with a closed-off grille at the front, which gets a waffle-like design. It also features the same vertically stacked LED headlights and connected LED DRLs.

Thanks to the 51.4 kWh battery pack, the Creta Electric, according to the company, will be able to offer a range of 473 km on a single full charge. The real-life driving range of this highly anticipated SUV will be revealed once the vehicle starts getting tested.
0-100 kmph in Just 7.9 Seconds
Although the complete specifications of the electric powertrain of the Hyundai Creta Electric have not been revealed, Hyundai has announced that this electric SUV will be able to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds. This performance is quite impressive, considering that electric vehicles are very heavy due to their battery packs.
Drive Selector Behind Steering
Hyundai has made a significant change with the Creta Electric. Instead of offering a traditional gear knob on the center console, this EV SUV features its drive selector behind the steering wheel on the right stalk. This type of gear selector is generally seen on Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Three Driving Modes
In addition to the unique drive selector, the company is also offering the Creta Electric with a drive mode selector. With the help of a rotary knob on the center console, drivers will be able to choose from three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.
