After waiting on the sidelines, the South Korean automotive giant Hyundai has finally unveiled its mass-market EV SUV, the Creta Electric, in India. The new model is based on the Creta ICE but comes with a number of unique design elements and features that set it apart from the standard model. Recently, all of the color options of the Hyundai Creta Electric have been revealed. It will be offered in 8 colors, and there will be two dual-tone color options as well.
Hyundai Creta Electric Color Options
Abyss Black Pearl
Like the standard ICE Creta, the Creta Electric will also be offered in the popular shade of Abyss Black Pearl. It is a deep pearlescent black that shines under the sunlight.
Starry Night
This color is unique to the Creta Electric, and it is a deep blue color that looks very classy.
Ocean Blue Metallic
Another unique color option of the Hyundai Creta Electric is the Ocean Blue Metallic. It is a lighter shade of blue than the Starry Night color.
Ocean Blue Matte
The same Ocean Blue shade is also offered in a matte finish.
Titan Grey Matte
The standard ICE Creta is offered in the Titan Grey Metallic color. However, the Creta Electric is being offered in the same color with a matte finish.
Robust Emerald Matte
Another color offered in the standard Creta is the Robust Emerald shade. However, this color is also available in a matte finish with the Creta Electric.
Fiery Red
Although not so popular with the standard Creta, the Creta Electric will also come in a Fiery Red color option.
Atlas White
One of the most popular colors of the Hyundai Creta is the Atlas White, and it will be offered with the Creta Electric as well.
Atlas White with Black Roof
The same Atlas White color will also be offered in a dual-tone option with a black roof.
Ocean Blue Metallic with Black Roof
Hyundai is also offering the Creta Electric in another dual-tone color option, which is Ocean Blue Metallic with a black roof.
Hyundai Creta Electric: Details
The soon-to-be-launched Creta Electric, as mentioned, is the first electric SUV from Hyundai that will be produced in India. It will cater to the mass electric vehicle segment and will compete with the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVitara, Tata Harrier EV, Mahindra BE 6, and the MG ZS EV. It has been reported that the company is planning to launch it with a starting price of around Rs 20 lakh.
In terms of design, the new Hyundai Creta Electric is being offered with a slightly redesigned front end. It gets a pixelated blanked-off grille with a charging port hidden behind the Hyundai emblem on the front. It also gets unique active aero flaps that open and close according to the cooling required by the vehicle.
There are also new 17-inch aero blade-style alloy wheels and a new rear bumper. In terms of features, the new Creta Electric will come equipped with dual-connected 10.25-inch screens, a drive selector behind the steering wheel, a rotary dial for drive mode selection, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, and many others.
Coming to the electric powertrain side of things, the new Creta Electric will come equipped with a 51.4 kWh battery pack. As for the range, it is being claimed by the company that the SUV will provide a 473 km range on a single full charge. Also, the Creta Electric will be able to hit 100 kmph.
