Hyundai Motor India has now fully unveiled its newest EV SUV, the Creta Electric, in India. This new vehicle comes equipped with a number of new features, and of these, the most interesting feature is V2L. For those who may not be aware, V2L, or vehicle-to-load, is a feature that allows users to use small electrical appliances by plugging them directly into an outlet provided inside the car. Hyundai has recently released a new TVC showing how this incredible feature works.

The video showing the capabilities of Hyundai Creta Electric’s V2L feature has been shared on YouTube by Hyundai India on their channel. In this short TVC, we can note that Hyundai has added a 250V, 16A electrical outlet underneath the rear seat in the middle. This outlet is covered by a sliding cover and can be opened for use by the people inside or outside the car.
In this TVC, Hyundai has depicted how this power plug point can be used to power a laptop charger and even an espresso machine inside the car. Apart from this, the same plug is then shown powering a range of external electrical appliances. These include a Bluetooth speaker, a small light, a projector, and a few others.
Tata Curvv.ev owner uses V2L to make tea
The Hyundai Creta Electric is not the only EV car in India that is offered with V2L. The recently launched Tata Curvv.ev is also offered with this exact same feature. And as this vehicle has been out for some time now, people have started using this feature in real life. In a recently shared video, a man who took his Curvv.ev to Himachal Pradesh during winter was seen making tea using V2L.
