Currently, the most popular automotive segment in India is the Sport Utility Vehicle, or SUV, segment. Today, we have a ton of options in this segment, and to add to the already long list of SUVs available in India, the South Korean automotive giant Hyundai is also gearing up to launch five new SUVs for the country. Now, if you are on the hunt for a new SUV, especially from Hyundai, then you have come to the right spot. Here are all the details of the five upcoming Hyundai SUVs in India.
Creta EV
Starting off with the SUV that will be launched first, which is the Hyundai Creta EV. This upcoming electric SUV will be based on the current-generation Creta but will boast an all-electric drivetrain. It will make its debut around December 2024 or by January 2025. It will get a similar design to the ICE Creta; however, there will be EV-specific design cues, such as a closed-off grille and aero disc-style alloy wheels. As for the features, it could come with dual 10.25-inch screens, ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and dual-zone climate control.
Reportedly, it will get a battery pack ranging from 45-50 kWh. With this, it will be able to offer a range of around 450 km on a single full charge. It could also produce around 136 bhp of power and 255 Nm of torque from its electric motor. As for the competition, it will take on the Maruti Suzuki eVX and Tata Harrier EV.
Tucson Facelift
