Hyundai has introduced the Venue Adventure edition in India with prices starting from Rs 10.15 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This means a premium of Rs 15,000 over the corresponding variants of the regular car. This special edition brings a new Ranger Khaki colour option to the palette and several exterior and interior cosmetic tweaks. Available in three trims—S(O)+, SX, and SX(O)—the Adventure Edition is offered only with petrol engines, a treatment previously seen on the Creta and Alcazar Adventure editions.

Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition: What’s New?

The Venue Adventure has a blacked-out theme for its alloy wheels, front and rear skid plates, roof rails, wing mirrors, and the shark fin antenna. It also includes additional side claddings on the doors, red-painted front brake callipers and an ‘Adventure Edition’ fender badge. The Hyundai logo on the grille is also blacked out.

Inside, it ditches the dual-tone Grey and Black colourway seen in the standard SUV, and opts for an all-black theme with Sage Green accents for contrast. The seats feature Adventure Edition-specific upholstery with Sage Green highlights, and it comes with new 3D floor mats and sportier metal pedals. Hyundai has also added a dashcam with dual cameras.

Apart from the new Ranger Khaki colour, the Venue Adventure Edition is available in three monotones—Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey—and three dual-tone colour options: Ranger Khaki with a black roof, Atlas White with a black roof, and Titan Grey with a black roof. The dual-tone colours are available on the SX and SX(O) trims for additional costs of Rs 15,000.

Hyundai Venue Adventure Edition: Powertrain Options

The Adventure Edition is offered with two petrol engine choices: an 83hp, 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engine paired with a manual gearbox, available on the S(O)+ and SX trims; and a 120hp, 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, available in the SX(O). Diesel variants have been exempted from getting Adventure Editions.

Venue Price And Variants

There are three variants available on the Adventure Edition, ex-showroom prices of which are listed below:

  • 1.2 Petrol MT SX (O)+ : 10.15 lakh
  • 1.2 Petrol MT SX : 11.21 lakh
  • 1.0 Turbo petrol DCT SX (O) : 13.38 lakh

The Venue Also Has A Knight Edition

Alongside the Adventure Edition, the Venue also has a dark-themed Knight Edition on sale. With its launch prices falling in the range of 10- 13.48 lakh, this edition has striking cosmetic reworks gone into it.

The Knight Edition features blacked-out elements, including the front grille, roof rails, alloy wheels, wing mirrors, and skid plates. Creating contrast, brass-coloured inserts can be seen on the bumpers, alloy wheels, and roof rails. The front brake callipers are painted Red. The logos have ‘Dark Chrome’ finishes to them, and there is even a Knight badge, similar to the one on the Creta Knight Edition.

This special edition is available in four monotone colours—black, white, grey, and red—along with a dual-tone option of red with a black roof.

Inside, the Venue Knight Edition gets an all-black interior with brass accents. Notable new features include a dual-camera dashcam and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, both of which are already available in the Venue N Line.

Like the newly launched Adventure edition, the Knight edition also stays petrol-only. There are no mechanical reworks, and it drives just like the regular 1.2 petrol and 1.0 TGDi engines. It, however, stands special in reintroducing a proper manual gearbox with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine.

The Creta And Alcazar Also Had Adventure Editions

As mentioned earlier in this article, the Creta and Alcazar were the first to get Adventure editions. The pre-facelift Creta got this treatment in August 2023 along with the Alcazar. Ranger Khakhi exterior colourway was the biggest highlight. The colour had made its debut through the Exter.

Both the vehicles had a black front grille with the Hyundai logo and dark chrome badges at the rear. Other blacked-out parts included the skid plates, side sills, roof rails, and a shark-fin antenna. The Alcazar also had a black fog lamp garnish.

Creta & Alcazar Adventure Edition

The Creta came with body-colored door handles and black C-pillar garnish. The three-row SUV, on the other hand, had a black tailgate garnish. Both models featured black alloy wheels.

Hyundai offered an all-black interior with light sage green accents in the Adventure Edition. The seat covers featured illustrations of mountains. Both the Creta and Alcazar Adventure Editions came with 21 special features. These included a dashcam with dual cameras, ‘Adventure’ badges, metal pedals and 3D Adventure mats.

The new Creta and the recently launched Alcazar are yet to get Adventure Editions. The launch of these could likely happen in the future.
