Discounts Of Up To Rs 3.60 Lakh On Jeep Compass, Meridian and Grand Cherokee - May 2025

If you’ve been planning to bring home a Jeep SUV, May 2025 might be the perfect time. The American carmaker is offering huge discounts across its SUV lineup this month. The benefits can go up to Rs 3.60 lakh. These will vary with stock availability and across cities. Jeep's Indian portfolio consists of four models- the Compass, Meridian, Wrangler and the flagship Grand Cherokee. Despite its premium (and desirable) brand image, the carmaker hasn't been posting healthy monthly sales recently. The new discounts could thus catalyse the sales and improve monthly numbers.
The popular Jeep Compass is now available with total benefits of up to ₹2.80 lakh. This includes a direct cash discount of ₹1.70 lakh. In addition to this, professionals such as doctors, bankers, employees of leasing firms, and partner vendors can claim an additional discount of ₹1.10 lakh. These apply mainly to the MY24 stock and can vary between dealers. The ex-showroom prices of the Compass fall in the 18.99- 32.41 lakh range.
At present, the SUV is available in just one engine option- the 2.0L turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170 hp and 350 Nm. The same is used in the Tata Harrier and MG Hector as well. The Compass offers two transmission options- a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It comes in both 4x2 and 4x4 forms, with the 4x4 limited to the top-spec S variant alone.
Jeep’s flagship SUV- the Grand Cherokee, is currently sold only in the top-spec Limited (O) variant. The usual ex-showroom price of the Grand Cherokee is Rs 67.50 lakh. With the new discount in place, the prices have fallen to under 65 lakh rupees! The revision makes it more accessible, and appealing.
Jeep also seems to be offering the 'Jeep Wave Exclusive package' which comes with three years of comprehensive warranty and expedited service.
Talking of mechanicals, the Grand Cherokee is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that produces 272 horsepower and 400 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Jeep India brought the fifth generation Cherokee to our soil in 2022. Back then, it had an ex-showroom price of Rs 77.5 lakh, as it was a CBU import. Later, the local assembly began and the same brought down the prices to what they are today.
Jeep offers the biggest discounts on not the Cherokee, but the Meridian! Up to 3.6 lakh rupees can be saved on the purchase of a Meridian this month. A cash discount of Rs 2.3 lakh is offered on the seven-seater SUV, and an additional 1.3 lakh can be had as a special incentive, subject to buyer profile, city and stock availability. The current price falls in the range of 24.99 to 38.79 lakh, ex-showroom. The Meridian comes with the same powetrain options as the Compass. The range topping variant gets 4x4 tech as well.
Unfortunately, the Wrangler SUV doesn't offer any discounts in May 2025.
Jeep offering massive price cuts and discounts on its products isn't new. The carmaker had announced massive price drops and benefits on various models in March this year, as well. Up to Rs 3 lakh could be saved on various Jeep models. This revision was intended at primarily intended to clear the MY24 inventory. Back then, the Cherokee got the highest cuts- of 3 lakh rupees.
