Bollywood Actor John Abraham After Driving Mahindra BE6 And XEV 9e [Video]

The Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E “born electric” SUVs from the brand have impressed automotive experts and car buyers in general. However, recently, these two electric SUVs were taken to Bollywood actor John Abraham’s house for a test drive, and they have now even managed to impress him with their design and features. Recently, John Abraham gave his approval to these electric SUVs, and a video showing this has been shared online.

John Abraham Test Drives Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E

This video of John Abraham giving his candid thoughts on the Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E has been shared on YouTube. It comes courtesy of Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs. In this short video, the actor can be heard mentioning that both of these cars are incredible and that they have everything to offer. After this, the video shows how these cars were brought to his office, where he went for the test drives.

In the video, John Abraham states that he loves the design of both of these SUVs. However, his personal favourite is the Mahindra BE 6, as it is sportier and cooler. He then highlights that if someone wants to get chauffeured around, they would love the XEV 9E.

After this, he mentions that if the real-world range of these SUVs comes out true, it would be amazing. He added that he’d only need to charge the vehicle once for 10 hours, and he’d be able to drive around 500 km for an entire week without any issues. The actor added that it sounds crazy, but it’s impressive.

He also highlights that the interiors of both SUVs are very unique and that the electronics used are next level. John Abraham also mentions that the boot space of the XEV 9E is massive, and he has also been shown the front trunk, which can be used during camping. The actor concluded by stating, “Hats off to everyone involved in the process of making these SUVs.”

Mahindra BE 6 and XEV 9E

Both the BE 6 and XEV 9E are based on Mahindra’s born electric INGLO skateboard architecture. These SUVs offer unique blade cell technology, which is a lot more efficient than the standard batteries used in the current generation of EVs. The company is offering both SUVs with two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh.

The BE 6 with the 59 kWh battery pack offers 535 km of range. Meanwhile, with the 79 kWh battery pack, it offers 682 km. The XEV 9E, on the other hand, with the 59 kWh battery pack, provides 542 km of range and 656 km with the 79 kWh battery pack.

As for the electric motors, both SUVs in the base variants will make 228 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, on the higher-spec variants, they will make 282 bhp and 382 Nm of torque.

In terms of features, Mahindra has left no stone unturned and is offering them with all the creature comforts. They both get Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture, which comprises a super-powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor with 24 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

Additionally, they also support Wi-Fi 6.0 and Bluetooth 5.2. They also get Mahindra VisionX Augmented Reality HUD, a high-end 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos, ADAS Level 2+, an air filter, and many others.

The complete price reveal of these SUVs will take place later this month. Mahindra has confirmed that the BE 6 will start at Rs 18.9 lakh, and the XEV 9E will start at Rs 21.9 lakh.
