Exterior design

Coming to the exterior design of the new Kia Syros, it boasts a very unique, boxy shape. The majority of the design inspiration for this SUV comes from the Kia EV9, the brand’s flagship electric SUV. At the front, there are vertically positioned LED DRLs with three ice cube-styled LED headlights.

There is also a big air dam in the middle of the lower front bumper, and at the center of this grille, it gets a radar for the ADAS. Additionally, the front bumper gets a massive silver skid plate as well. Moving on, the side profile continues the boxy silhouette. It gets a unique, minivan-like styling where the front half of the vehicle looks separated.

The B-pillar of the Syros is very thick, and the C-pillar has been integrated with the windows of the middle section. There is also a kink on the rear windows, which rounds up the side profile. Other notable highlights are flush-type door handles, unique-looking 17-inch alloy wheels, chunky, squarish side claddings, and pronounced roof rails.

There is also a large flat tailgate extending to a low height. This will help make loading and unloading the boot easier. There is also a chunky rear bumper with black cladding and a faux skid plate finished in silver.
