Mahindra’s is gearing up for the launch of their two new electric vehicles this month. The Indian SUV manufacturer has been testing their two EVs for the last couple of years and we now know that the production version of these SUVs would be unveiled to the world on 26th November 2025. Mahindra will be unveiling Mahindra XEV 9e and the BE 6e electric SUVs. The manufacturer has now shared a new set of teaser images of the upcoming XEV 9e before the official launch.

Mahindra has shared the images of the XEV 9e on their official page. The first image seen here is the silhouette of the electric SUV. The XEV 9e comes with a L-shaped drop down LED DRLs. Just like many modern SUVs, the XEV 9e also comes with a connecting LED DRLs. We also see a glowing Mahindra logo on the bonnet of the SUV.
The electric SUV is expected to come with an all LED split headlamp set up with EV specific closed grille. The concept of the XEV 9e looked like an electric version of the XUV700 but that is not how it is. It is actually a completely new electric SUV that has been developed from scratch. It is based on Mahindra’s INGLO skateboard platform which we will see not just in XEV 9e but, many future Mahindra EVs.

The caption actually gives us a hint that the XEV 9e will be offering several premium features. We are expecting it to come with leatherette upholstery, triple screen set up on the dashboard with touch sensitive buttons on the dashboard.
All three screens are expected to be of 10.25 inch size. On of them would be the digital instrument cluster while the other two would serve as the infotainment screens.
This would be the first SUV in its segment to offer this feature. The XEV 9e will come with a sloping coupe like roof design with sleek looking vertical LED tail lamps with connecting LED bar on top. The SUV would also come with a large glass roof. It looks like a glass roof and not a sunroof that can be opened.
The electric SUV would also come with two-spoke steering wheel, leatherette upholstery, electrical adjustment for driver and co-driver seat, seat ventilation for front passengers, ADAS, 6 airbags and many more safety features too. Like latest Mahindra products, we expect XEV 9e to be a sturdy SUV.
Mahindra is yet to reveal the details related to the motor and battery pack. We assume that SUV will be offering a battery pack that is capable of offering at least 500 km of driving range. The SUV would also come with both single and dual-motor set up. Mahindra XEV 9E is going to be a premium EV and we have to see if Mahindra will be launching the SUV at an aggressive price like all their products.
