Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced substantial discounts on multiple NEXA models for the month of September 2024. This is apparently a part of the manufacturer’s efforts to cash in on the forthcoming festive season. While discounts on SUVs like the Jimny and Fronx have seen slight increases, benefits on the Grand Vitara and Ciaz remain the same as those of last month. Discounts on the XL6 and Baleno, on the other hand, have decreased. Here’s a detailed breakdown of what’s to be expected in September:
Up To 2.5 Lakh Discount On The Jimny
Despite being a capable off-roader, the Maruti Jimny is often criticized for its bad pricing. Sales had also dipped recently. The past few months saw various attractive offers and discounts being rolled out on the Jimny. In September, it gets a cut of up to 2.5 lakh on the Alpha variant. The ZETA variant, on the other hand, is available with a 1.95 lakh discount. Benefits on Zeta, are now up by Rs 45,00, compared to August. The Jimny now faces even more fierce competition in India, as Mahindra has launched the Thar Roxx, and Force has started deliveries of the 5-door Gurkha. Increased discounts could possibly revive the SUV’s sales here.
Up To 1.28 Lakh Off On The Maruti Grand Vitara
The Grand Vitara continues to offer significant savings, with discounts remaining steady from last month. Buyers can enjoy up to 1.28 lakh off on the strong hybrid variants, Rs 73,100 on the mild-hybrids, and Rs 33,100 on the CNGs. These benefits and cuts increase the overall value proposition of Grand Vitara in its segment. The SUV is already loved for its good ride quality and frugal powertrains.
Baleno Discounts Decreased by Rs 5,000!
Maruti Suzuki has reduced discounts offered on the Baleno, this month. With the cuts down by Rs 5,000 , the manual variants offer price cuts of Rs 47,100, while discounts of Rs 52,100 exist on the automatics. CNG version of the Baleno is available with a discount of Rs 37,100.
Bigger Discounts On Maruti Fronx
Both manual and automatic versions of Maruti Fronx now offer benefits of Rs 83,000, including the Fronx Velocity Edition package, priced at Rs 40,000. The 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol models get a discount of Rs 35,000, while the Sigma variant offers Rs 32,500 off. The Delta, Delta Plus, and Delta Plus (O) variants each receive a 30,000 cut. The Fronx CNG is available with Rs 10,000 off, across all variants. Discounts on the Fronx turbo variants seem to have increased this month.
Maruti Ignis Discounts
Known for its compact size and lively performance, Maruti Suzuki Ignis is available with discounts of up to ₹57,500 this month. This includes a cash discount, exchange bonus, and corporate benefits. The Delta, Zeta, and Alpha (MT) variants are offered with benefits of around ₹48,100. The entire Ignis automatic range now runs a discount of ₹53,100, and so does the Sigma MT.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz: Discounts Unchanged
The Ciaz continues with the same discounts as last month. All variants come with up to ₹45,000 in benefits, including a cash discount of ₹20,000 and an exchange bonus of ₹25,000.
Maruti Suzuki XL6: Reduced Discounts for September 2024
Like the Baleno, the XL6 has its discounts reduced for September. The petrol variants now get ₹35,000 off, while the CNG variants are available with ₹25,000 in benefits.
