The acceptance of electric cars is on the rise. Aiming to cash in on the same, multiple manufacturers have announced attractive discounts and benefits on various affordable EVs that are on sale in India. Here are more details of 4 such deals:

Tata Offering Up To 3 Lakh Off On The Nexon EV

Epic discounts and benefits are now available on the Tata Nexon EV. Select variants offer savings of up to Rs 3 lakh. Previously priced between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 19.29 lakh, ex-showroom, the electric SUV now starts at Rs 12.49 lakh. The base variant now has its price reduced by 2 lakh rupees.

Tata Motors had recently launched the ‘Festival of Cars’ program that offered interesting price cuts on both ICE and EV models. The benefits of the same are included in these discounts, and no additional cuts can be had from the dealer side. The manufacturer, however, is offering six months of free fast charging to various Tata.EV models.

Tata Punch.EV Discounts:

he Tata Punch.EV, previously priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 14.99 lakh, now gets price cuts of up to Rs 1.20 lakh. The new ex-showroom prices are Rs 9.99 lakh – Rs 13.79 lakh. The base variant sees a Rs 1 lakh reduction, while the top-spec variant gets a Rs 1.2 lakh drop. This compact electric SUV is available with two battery options: a 25kWh battery pack offering a range of 315 km and a larger 35kWh unit with a claimed range of 421 km.

The Punch has been in high demand since its market launch and has rarely had discounts offered on. These, thus stand extra special and not worth a miss!

Tiago.ev Discounts – Rs 40,000 Off!

The Tiago.EV is available in two different forms- the standard range and the extended range. The current discounts are not available on the base variants. The hatchback continues to start at 7.99 lakh, ex-showroom. The higher variants get discounts of up to 40,000. The all-electric Tiago comes with a 19.2 kWh battery pack on the base variant, that offers 221 km/charge in range. The long-range version gets a 24 kWh unit that is claimed to deliver 315 km. Post revisions, the top-spec Tiago.ev with 7.2 kW AC fast charger has a sticker price of 10.99 lakh.

MG Comet EV- 40K-50K Off!

MG Comet EV is particularly popular among urban dwellers. The vehicle is loved for its compact proportions and fun-to-use powertrain. MG Motor India is currently offering discounts and benefits of 40,000- 50,000 on various models and variants of the Comet. Earlier this year, the prices of Comet had fallen by up to 1 lakh.

Discounts of up to Rs. 50,000 (special discount of 25000, corporate discounts of 5000, and loyalty bonus of 20,000) are available on the MY23 stock, while MY 24 Comet EVs can be had with discounts of up to Rs. 40,000 (Exchange discount of 15,000, Loyalty Bonus of 20,000, and Rs 5000 in corporate discounts).

MG ZS EV Price Cut And Offers:

The ZS EV is MG’s first electric vehicle for India, and continues to sell good numbers. The electric SUV gets discounts of up to 1.85 lakh, this September. MY23 cars offer as much as 2.35 lakh in discounts. On the current model year vehicles, the benefits vary with variants and editions. The Essence and Exclusive Plus trims offer 1.85 lakh in cuts. The Exclusive Plus 100Year Green Edition offers Rs 85,000 and the Exclusive and Excite Pro variants have benefits of Rs 35,000.

Mahindra XUV 400 Discounts

The XUV 400 is the first electric vehicle from Mahindra, and battles with the Tata Nexon EV and Curvv.EV in the Indian market. It is available in two versions- Pro and the non-Pro. Massive discounts now apply to the Pro variants while the non-Pro continues to offer regular exchange bonuses.

The XUV 400 Pro variants can now be had with discounts of up to 2.75 lakh. Various additional bonuses are also available, making the total benefits touch the 3 lakh mark.
