MG Motor Offering Massive Rs 3.92 Lakh Discounts On Hector, Comet EV And Astor

With the month of April starting, the heat levels are rising quickly across the country. However, this heat is nothing compared to the heat of deals being offered by MG Motor India. The company, for the month of April, is offering massive discounts up to Rs 3.92 lakh. Yes, you read that right. Here are all the details of offers and benefits being offered by MG on its popular models.

MG Comet EV

First off, let's talk about the benefits that are being offered on the MG Comet EV, which is the brand's most affordable electric vehicle. On the MY2024 models of the Comet EV, MG is offering massive discounts. The Exclusive variant is being offered with a Rs 20,000 cash discount, Rs 20,000 loyalty bonus, and Rs 5,000 corporate discount.

Meanwhile, the mid variants, including Excite and 100-Year Edition, are getting total benefits up to Rs 35,000. As for the discounts on the MY2025 models, they are getting discounts in the range of Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000, depending upon the variant chosen by the buyer.

The MG Comet EV comes equipped with an electric motor that makes 42 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. As for the battery pack, it comes equipped with a 17.3 kWh unit, which offers an ARAI-claimed range of 230 km.

MG Astor

The next vehicle in the MG lineup to get a ton of discounts is the Astor mid-size SUV. The MY2024 units of this Hyundai Creta-rivalling SUV are getting benefits up to Rs 1.45 lakh. The Savvy Pro Turbo AT variant is getting a cash discount of Rs 75,000. It is also getting an exchange bonus of Rs 35,000. The lower variants, including Sprint and Select, are getting discounts up to Rs 35,000.

Also, MY2025 models are getting discounts up to Rs 70,000. The MG Astor comes with two engine options — a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 110 bhp of power. The other is a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine, which makes 140 bhp. The 1.5-litre engine is offered with a manual transmission and CVT gearbox, while the 1.3-litre engine comes with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

MG Hector and Hector Plus

As for the highest discounts, MG is offering the most amount of discounts on the Hector and Hector Plus SUVs. The Hector Plus 6-seater’s Sharp Pro trim is getting the highest discount of Rs 3.92 lakh. Meanwhile, the Hector 5-seater is getting a discount of Rs 3.73 lakh. As for the Hector Plus 7-seater, the Smart variant is getting a discount of Rs 1.95 lakh.

In addition to these, the loyalty bonus for customers buying these SUVs is Rs 20,000. Also, there is a corporate discount of Rs 10,000–15,000. Lastly, MG is also offering an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000–90,000, depending on the model and dealership. MG offers the Hector with both petrol and diesel engine options.

The petrol version is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine that generates 141 BHP and 250 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that generates 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. The petrol version of the Hector is available with manual and CVT gearbox options, while the diesel only gets a manual transmission.
