The Czech automaker Skoda is enjoying the success of its newest launch, the Kushaq sub-compact SUV in India. So, to carry forward the momentum of success, the company, at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Auto Expo, is going to launch two new cars. Both of these will cater to luxury and performance enthusiasts in the country. So, without any delay, here are the complete details of the two new Skoda cars that will be showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Auto Expo.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq
The first of the two new models will be the Skoda Kodiaq luxury SUV. This time around, the Kodiaq has been given a significant exterior and interior design upgrade. On the outside, it now comes with a completely new front fascia. It features a set of sleeker LED headlamps with L-shaped DRLs, a new Skoda “Butterfly” grille, and a new front bumper.
On the sides, it will now get a set of new sportier-looking aeroblade-style alloy wheels. Also, the windows have been made larger, and its overall silhouette will also be more premium looking. As for the rear end, it will come with new wraparound LED taillights, which will also be connected. A new rear bumper will also be included.
Moving on to the changes on the interior, the new Kodiaq’s cabin will feature a bigger 13-inch floating infotainment touchscreen at the center. It will also come with a 10-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, new air conditioning vents, three knobs for automatic climate control, a wireless charger, a two-spoke steering wheel, premium leather upholstery, and many other features.
Powering the new 2025 Skoda Kodiaq will be the same 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. It will produce 190 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. As for the transmission duties, they will be handled by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. It will also come with a 4X4 system like the outgoing model. The pricing of the new Kodiaq will be slightly higher than that of the current model, which is sold for Rs 39.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Skoda Octavia RS
Another very important model at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo from Skoda will be its Octavia RS. The more performance-oriented version of the standard luxury-focused Octavia now gets a ton of new updates. It has been given a ton of stylistic design changes, a new interior, and a powerful motor.
The new Skoda Octavia RS now gets a much more aggressive-looking front fascia. It gets a set of new LED headlights, which will also come with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, and a new blacked-out signature “Butterfly” grille with the RS badge on the right corner.
It will also get a much sharper-looking front bumper and a set of new diamond-cut 18-inch alloy wheels. As for the main highlight, the Skoda Octavia RS will come equipped with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol motor. It will be capable of producing 265 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. As for transmission, it gets a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
The 2025 Skoda Octavia RS sits 15 mm lower than the standard Octavia, and it also gets an electronic limited-slip differential. Additionally, this sporty sedan also gets a sports exhaust system. It has to be noted that the new Skoda Octavia RS might not be sold in India. Reportedly, the company is bringing it to the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo to gauge market response.
