Nissan Magnite Gets Solid Discounts Through Hattrick Carnival: Details

The Japanese carmaker Nissan, which currently only has one mass-market offering in the country, has launched a new campaign. Named the “Hattrick Carnival,” the company is offering discounts of up to Rs 55,000 on products in the country. This new campaign, which celebrates the cricket season and Navratri festival, aims to bring in more sales to the brand.
As per the company, select Nissan models are being offered a discount of Rs 55,000. Also, there is an additional Rs 10,000 bonus as well. On top of these discounts, the company is also offering an assured gold coin to every buyer of a new Nissan car. It has to be noted that this offer is only being offered till the end of April.
Nissan, in order to boost sales and provide customers a unique experience, has transformed its showrooms with cricket-themed decorations. Also, the ambience has been given a festive flair as well. In addition to these, dealerships are also offering customers test drives with live cricket-style commentary, and car unveilings are being done with cricket jingles.
Recently, Nissan also announced that FY2024-25 was its strongest year in the last 7 years in India. The company sold a total of 99,000+ units in the country. It added that the sub-compact SUV Magnite was their best seller, and it contributed by posting over 28,000 units sales. Also, the company exported a total of 71,000 units as well, making India its key export hub.
Nissan recently stated that despite its recent sale of stake in the Chennai plant to Renault, it sees a long-term future in India. The Japanese carmaker stated that it is currently restructuring and repositioning for sustained growth in the Indian car market. As per the company, it is committing an investment of Rs 6,300 crore in India.
It stated that over 80 percent of the funds have already been deployed towards new product development and retail network expansion. So, the brand is investing to strengthen its position in the country. Nissan has announced that it aims to grow its volumes by triple the amount that it is currently doing in the coming few years. The exact time frames have not been mentioned.
Frank Torres, the Divisional Vice President of AMIEO Region Business Transformation and President of Nissan India Operations, stated:
We are here to stay. Our investments are intact, our network is growing, and our future models are aligning with our aspiration to triple our volumes.
In addition to these, Nissan also stated that it is planning to launch not one, not two, but a total of six new products in the country. It has stated that two will be B-segment SUVs, and two will be C-segment SUVs, including 5-seater and 7-seater models. Also, there will be an electric car which will be based on the Magnite. Lastly, a Nissan Triber-based budget-friendly MPV is also under development.
The most exciting product of these upcoming models is the Nissan Terrano’s latest iteration. Based on the newest generation of the Renault Duster, the Terrano will be taking on the mid-size SUV segment champions like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and others.
