In addition to the standard warranty, Renault has introduced flexible extended warranty packages under its ‘Renault Secure’ initiative. These can be purchased anytime during the standard warranty period, and allow customers to customize coverage based on their specific needs.

The extended warranty options now include:

  • 4 years or 1,00,000 km
  • 5 years or 1,20,000 km
  • 6 years or 1,40,000 km
  • 7 years with unlimited kilometres

Both the standard and extended warranties come with 24×7 roadside assistance, which includes towing services in case of accidents, ensuring greater convenience and support for Renault owners.

Focus on Customer Satisfaction

Mr. Venkatram M., Managing Director and Country CEO, Renault India, expressed confidence in the initiative, stating “Renault has a legacy of delivering innovative, reliable solutions that earn the trust of our customers. With the introduction of a standard 3-year warranty on all vehicles purchased in 2025, we reaffirm our confidence in the quality of our cars and our dedication to elevating the ownership experience.

We understand the importance of peace of mind when making such a significant purchase, and this initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to putting customers at the centre of everything we do, ensuring every journey is rewarding and worry-free.”

Renault Wants To Boost Customer Confidence?

More than a random ‘keep the customer happy’ initiative, the rollout of the improved standard and reworked extended warranties aims to boost customer confidence for whoever has bought/ is about to buy a Renault. There has recently been a lot of bad press around Nissan’s bankruptcy and its possible customer impacts.

People have lately been jittery about Renault as well. There would be many who would suspect this French carmaker to leave India soon. With these measures, Renault hopes to kill such suspicions and shout out loud that they are here to stay.
