In an Instagram reel shared recently, the cricketer reminisces about his earlier days when he didn’t travel in a car but in a BEST bus, reflecting on his humble childhood. The reel features Sachin Tendulkar giving a tour of a BEST bus operating on route no. 315 in Mumbai, shuttling between Bandra and Shivaji Park.

He recalls how he used to commute from his home in Bandra to the cricket academy at Shivaji Park and back using the BEST bus. Sachin shares memories of rushing for the last window seat, located just behind the rear door, on his way back home after cricket practice sessions.

The video captures Sachin fondly recalling his childhood experiences while sitting inside the BEST bus on route no. 315, reminiscing and sharing anecdotes. Initially posted by the “Master Blaster” himself, the reel was widely shared by numerous netizens, drawing significant attention and admiration. Many praised the cricketer for remembering his modest beginnings and not forgetting the initial days of his cricketing journey.

Sachin owns multiple high-end cars

Before becoming a successful sportsperson, Sachin Tendulkar used to rely on BEST buses and local trains for commuting in Mumbai. After his international cricket debut, he purchased a Maruti 800 as his first car, holding dear memories with it. He even restored the car and got it back.

Sachin Tendulkar recently added a brand new Lamborghini Urus to his impressive car collection. He had a habit of attending weekend drives and would often showcase his performance cars during those outings.

Just recently, a spotter in Mumbai caught him driving a sleek white Porsche 911 Turbo S on the Sea Link not just once, but twice. Although Sachin’s face wasn’t visible in the footage, the car’s registration number was traced back to SRT Sports Management, which is owned by his wife, Dr. Anjali Sachin Tendulkar.

In addition to the Porsche, Sachin was also seen cruising around Mumbai in his Porsche Cayenne Turbo, sporting a chic silver color and an exclusive Techart body kit. The body kit included lower side skirts that wrapped around the SUV’s body, adding a sporty touch to the vehicle’s already imposing frame. An array of large multi-spoke alloy wheels and low-profile tires solidified the Cayenne Turbo’s athletic and grounded appearance.

Sachin is known for his love of the BMW brand and has amassed an impressive collection of luxury cars, several of which are from BMW. His collection includes the latest models of BMW 7-Series Li, BMW X5M, BMW i8, and a BMW 5-Series. Interestingly, Sachin’s BMW obsession goes way back to the time when he privately imported a BMW X5M long before he was appointed as the brand ambassador for BMW India.
