Future Plans For India

The next big launch from Skoda in India will be the Kylaq sub-four SUV, built on the MQB A0IN platform. Scheduled for Feb 2025 debut, it will have competitive pricing and will help the brand scale volumes in the Indian market. There will be extensive focus on Kylaq exports and Skoda is expected to utilize the peak production capacity of the Chakan plant for this. Sources say that one out of 10 Kylaqs produced here will be exported. The introduction of Monte Carlo editions of the Kushaq and Slavia has added to the hype surrounding the brand’s future plans here.
