Hidden Storage Compartment Inside The Boot
The Curvv offers a class-leading boot space of 500 litres. It is the same as that of the EV version.
The large, single-piece tailgate provides easy and convenient access. In addition to the primary boot compartment, there are additional storage spaces on either side where you can keep small things. They can be closed and kept safe.
Smart And Convenient Tailgate Operation
The Curvv has a rather interesting design to its tailgate. Courtesy of its coupe-like roofline, the tailgate is a single-piece unit combining the rear windshield and the boot lid into one. It gets gesture-based operation. You can open the boot by waving your leg underneath. The other way to access the boot is by using the button inside the cabin.
The Curvv comes with an electric tailgate. Opening it completely could make the boot lid rise to some serious height. This could create inconvenience in select parking scenarios. Tata Motors offers the option to adjust the height to which the tailgate can open. The partial opening and closure can be adjusted using the central touchscreen.
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) On Manual Variants
Electronic parking brakes have become common sights in vehicles belonging to various segments. In most cases, however, you see these on automatic variants. Tata Curvv offers electronic parking brakes on manual variants as well.
Shark-Fin Antenna And Its GPS
The Shak-fin antenna on the Curvv isn’t just a design element. It houses GPS hardware that allows for easy transmission and exchange of data between the vehicle and the authenticated smartphone. The owner can use the iRA application to keep track of the vehicle’s position.
Smart Infotainment Display Operation
The Curvv offers smart operation for its touchscreen. Even if you turn off and lock the vehicle, and still stay inside, the infotainment system continues to function until the driver opens the door and gets out.
