Tata Harrier.EV Production Begins, Bookings Hit 10K On Day One: Deliveries Later This Month

Tata Motors has officially started series production of its latest electric SUV, the Harrier.ev, at its Pune plant. This follows an overwhelming response from buyers, with over 10,000 bookings received on the very first day of availability. Deliveries are expected to begin in the coming weeks, with Tata confirming that customers will start receiving their vehicles in July 2025.
The Harrier.ev was launched last month and is priced between ₹21.49 lakh and ₹28.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in two drive configurations - Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) and Rear Wheel Drive (RWD). The RWD variant comes in four trims: Adventure, Adventure S, Fearless+, and Empowered, while the QWD setup is offered only in the top-spec Empowered variant.
The electric SUV is offered in four colour options - Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. Tata has also introduced a special Stealth Edition, featuring a matte black exterior and an all-black interior for a bold and premium appearance.
Built on Tata’s new acti.ev+ architecture, the Harrier.ev gets a dual-motor setup in the QWD variant, delivering a combined 313 horsepower and 504 Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds, making it the quickest in its class.
The SUV offers two battery pack options:
65 kWh with an ARAI MIDC certified range of up to 538 km
75 kWh with an ARAI MIDC certified range of up to 627 km
Charging is convenient too. The Harrier.ev supports 120 kW DC fast charging, which can add 250 km of range in just 15 minutes. Home charging using a 7.2 kW AC charger takes about 10.7 hours for a full charge. Tata is also offering a lifetime battery warranty for the first private owner. Subsequent owners get a 10 year/200,000 Kms warranty on the battery.
The Harrier.ev is packed with premium features. It includes a 14.5-inch infotainment screen developed by Harman using Samsung’s Neo QLED technology - said to be the first of its kind in a production car. Audio is handled by a JBL 10-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support. Other standout features include a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, Level 2 ADAS, seven airbags, and a 540-degree camera system that even shows what’s under the car.
Designed for comfort and capability, the Harrier.ev includes six terrain modes, a Quad Wheel Drive system for off-roading, and an Ultra Glide Suspension with frequency-dependent damping for a smoother ride. High-tech convenience features such as e-Valet Auto Park Assist, Digi Access digital key, and DrivePay further enhance everyday usability.
