Toyota Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition: Detailed Walkaround On Video
A lot of times, automakers, in order to sell their old inventory, launch limited edition models with minor cosmetic changes. Toyota, however, is a bit different, and it makes limited edition models of its already popular vehicles, which increases the popularity even more. The latest such model on sale from Toyota is the Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition or Anniversary Edition. This new model will only be available till July end, and recently, a video showing this model has been shared online.
Toyota Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition: Details
This video of the Toyota Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition’s walkaround has been shared on YouTube by Autoreviews on their channel. It starts off with the host mentioning that this particular Exclusive Edition or Anniversary Edition of the Hycross MPV is based on the top-of-the-line ZX (O) variant. He then highlights that it was introduced in May and will only be available till the end of July.
Exterior design walkaround
Following the introduction, the vlogger starts giving a detailed walkaround of the exterior of this MPV. He starts at the front and mentions that the overall front fascia looks exactly the same as the standard Innova Hycross ZX (O) variant. However, unlike the standard model, it gets black Innova lettering on top of the front grille.
He then mentions that, being the top-spec variant, it comes equipped with LED headlights, LED DRLs, four parking sensors, front camera, and the camera and sensors for ADAS Level 2. The Exclusive Edition also gets LED fog lights on the bottom as well.
Moving on, the vlogger shows the side profile of this model. As part of the Exclusive Edition, the Hycross comes equipped with chrome garnish on the claddings on the wheel arches. It also gets chrome on the ORVMs. Apart from these, the main differentiating factor is the color of the 18-inch alloy wheels.
The Exclusive Edition gets gloss black alloy wheels, and the design is exactly the same as the standard model. In addition to these, the roof and all the pillars are finished in black to give the vehicle a more sporty and distinct appearance. As for the rear, this model gets a blacked-out boot lid garnish and a chrome strip, which is part of the accessories kit.
Interior updates of the Exclusive Edition
Following the exterior, the vlogger shows the interior of this MPV. It gets a Fortuner Legender-like black and maroon interior. The same color scheme continues on the door pads. Apart from these, the model gets the same 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument gauge cluster, multifunction steering wheel with ADAS controls. It also gets automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wired Android Auto.
Powertrain
As mentioned, this Exclusive Edition model has only received cosmetic upgrades. This means it still comes powered by the same 2.0-litre petrol motor, which gets strong hybrid support. In total, it makes 186 PS of maximum power and 206 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a CVT gearbox, which is standard, and it does not get a manual gearbox option.
Pricing
The vlogger then provides the pricing of the Innova Hycross Exclusive Edition. He mentions that its ex-showroom price is Rs 32.68 lakh. As for the on-road price, it is Rs 36.73 lakh. In terms of the difference over the standard model, it is around Rs 1.24 lakh.
