Tata Motors, just a few months ago, showcased the Harrier.ev electric SUV doing some incredible driving maneuvers at its unveiling event. Since then, the company has been quietly finishing its final stage of road testing. Most recently, a fully undisguised test mule of the upcoming Tata Harrier.ev was spotted parked at the side of the road. These images show the exterior and the interior of the Harrier.ev, which is expected to have its official launch in June.

The Tata Harrier.ev is currently one of the most highly anticipated electric SUVs, as the company has promised that it will boast several unique features. Recently, a fully undisguised pre-production prototype of this electric SUV was spotted on the side of a road. We can note that at the front, the Harrier.ev will be getting a closed-off grille, connected LED DRLs, and split LED headlights like the ICE model.

In terms of the key differentiators, the front bumper will boast vertical and slanted slats finished in silver, which give it a more futuristic appearance and tie it with Tata’s other EVs like the Nexon.ev and Curvv.ev. Apart from these, the SUV will also get a silver skid plate and front parking sensors, along with a camera in the front for a 360-degree reverse camera.

Moving on to the side profile, we can note that the Harrier.ev was equipped with a set of 19-inch aeroblade-style alloy wheels. These alloys are specific to the Harrier.ev, as they have been designed to increase the aero efficiency of the vehicle.

Apart from these, the rest of the silhouette looks the same as the standard ICE. The images do not show the rear of the Harrier.ev. However, it will come with the same connected LED taillights and a new rear bumper with more silver elements and a silver skid plate.

Interior

Apart from the exterior images, a picture showing the interior of this SUV has also been shared. This image reveals that the Harrier.ev will come with a dual-tone interior scheme. There will be black and either white or light grey color to add a contrast and give it an upscale appearance. We can also note that, being an EV which does not have a transmission, this SUV will be getting a rotary knob in the middle of the centre console.

Other important highlights of the interior of the Harrier.ev which we can note are that the SUV will be getting the same four-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo in the middle. There is also the same 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the same 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster. Apart from these, the same touch-based HVAC controls can be seen on this SUV. Tata will also be offering this EV SUV with V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) feature.

Powertrain

It is believed that the Harrier.ev will have a sub-6-second 0–100 kmph time. Tata will also be offering the Harrier.ev with an all-wheel-drive system, which will help it in tackling some light off-roading. As for the pricing, Tata Motors is expected to launch the Harrier.ev with a price tag in the range of Rs 25–30 lakh.
