Starting at the front, the first and most major update that we can note is the brand-new LED headlights. It still boasts the same split headlamp design. However, they have now been made very modern and sleek. Another important change at the front is the addition of a connecting LED light strip in the middle.

Like the new Sonet and the Seltos, Kia could also provide the Carens facelift with an extension of the LED DRLs, which also connect to the LED headlamp units as shown in the render. Apart from this major change, we can note the front bumper has also been made slightly more aggressive and pronounced.

Coming to the side profile, the major design of the popular MPV has not been altered as much. It still gets the sharp body lines along with a long rear door. It also continues to boast the same chrome details on the window moldings and door handles. The silver roof rails can also be noted in the same position.

One major change, as seen in the rendered version, which could be seen in the production version as well, is the newly designed alloy wheels. Generally, when automakers launch a new generation or facelift of their existing product, they launch it with a set of brand-new alloy wheels. Apart from this, we can also note a silver element on the bottom of the doors.

As for the changes in the rear, like the front, they are also huge. We can note that the LED taillights are now connected by an LED light bar. This reminds us of the newly facelifted Kia Sonet sub-compact SUV. Also, LED taillight units have been given a C-shape, and they look very modern. There is also a massive silver skid plate.
