These cars from popular automakers like Maruti Suzuki, Kia, Tata Motors, Honda, and Nissan will most likely become huge hits in India. 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Just a few days ago, pictures of the upcoming new generation of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire sub-compact sedan were leaked online. These pictures revealed the complete exterior design of the new Dzire. It was noted that the new model will get a completely new front fascia. The unique part about this generation’s Dzire is that it looks completely different from its sibling, Swift.
It gets new, sleeker LED headlights, a new and bigger grille, LED fog lights, and a new bumper. It also gets new diamond-cut alloy wheels and a new rear-end design. One of the main highlights of the new Dzire will be the addition of an electric single-pane sunroof, which none of its competitors—Hyundai Aura or Honda Amaze—offer.
Reportedly, the new Dzire will be making its way to the Indian automotive market after Diwali 2024. This means that it could be launched around the first half of November. As for the pricing, it is expected to be in the range of Rs 6.7 to Rs 9.5 lakh.
2024 Kia Carnival Premium MPV
Next up in line is the all-new 2024 Kia Carnival premium MPV. This popular MPV, which is preferred by business owners, will be officially launched on October 3. The bookings for this model have already commenced. This time around, the new Kia Carnival will feature a completely new exterior design.
It will be getting new vertically stacked LED headlights, L-shaped LED DRLs, and new LED taillights. It will also be getting a ton of new features on the inside, including dual sunroofs, ventilated powered seats, a 12-speaker Bose audio system, and dual 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment and digital instrument gauge cluster screens.
It will also come with 23 ADAS level 2 features. As for the powerplant, it will continue to boast the same 2.2-litre diesel engine, which makes 191 bhp and 441 Nm of torque. It will come paired with an automatic transmission. The new 2024 Kia Carnival will be launched in the price range of Rs 45–50 lakh.
2024 Nissan Magnite Facelift
The Japanese automaker Nissan is also gearing up for the launch of the Magnite facelift in India. It has been announced by the brand that the new Magnite facelift will be officially launched on October 4 in India. The latest test mules of the upcoming Magnite facelift have revealed a few new design details.
This popular sub-compact SUV will come equipped with a set of new LED headlights, a tweaked grille, new bumpers, and a new set of alloy wheels. It could also get an electric sunroof as well. As per the reports, the company will be retaining both the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engines of the current model.
2024 Tata Nexon iCNG
In order to increase its already high market share, Tata Motors will also be launching its new Nexon iCNG in India. This new model is anticipated to make its debut on September 30. Like all the other iCNG siblings, the Nexon iCNG will also come with the dual-cylinder kit.
Reportedly, it will come powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. This will be the first time in India that a CNG car gets a turbocharged engine. It is expected to make around 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. Apart from this, it looks the same as the standard Nexon.
2024 Honda Amaze
Honda is also working on the development of the Amaze facelift. The Amaze, which has not been updated for a long time, is now due for a facelift. It is the main competitor of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, which, as mentioned, will be launched following Diwali 2024. Honda is expected to launch the Amaze in the coming two months.
Like other facelifts, it too will be receiving a refreshed exterior design and interior. As per the reports, the powertrain will most likely remain the same. This means that the new Amaze will come powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine, which makes 88 bhp and 110 Nm of torque.
2024 Mahindra XUV400 Facelift
Mahindra Automotive recently launched the new XUV 3OO in India. This new model has already become a success in the country. Now the company is working on the development of the XUV400 EV’s facelift. This new model will be launched during the festive season.
Reportedly, it will get a similar front fascia as the XUV 3OO. Meanwhile, the powertrain specifications will remain the same. It will offer a range of up to 456 km on a single charge. The price range is expected to start at Rs 16 lakh and go up to Rs 20 lakh.
