Carzonrent’s Myles Self Drive service now offering Mercedes Benz luxury cars

Like their names suggest, self drive cars do away with a chauffeur, giving an individual more freedom and flexibility. Carzonrent’s Myles self drive car service now offers two Mercedes Benz luxury cars in the form of the C-Class and E-Class sedans respectively. Both luxury cars are available on hourly and daily rents through the self drive route. The C-Class’ hourly and daily rents come to 900 rupees and 6,500 rupees respectively, fuel included. The E-Class’ hourly and daily rents are priced at 1,200 rupees and 9,500 rupees respectively, fuel included. The hourly driving distance is capped at 25 kilometers while the driving distance is capped at 150 kilometers for full-day rentals.

Depending on the response that the Mercedes Benz C-Class and E-Class self drive sedans get, Carzonrent could induct more such luxury cars into its fleet, including the hallowed AMG range. Hiring a self drive car will require your credit card details and a certain amount of funds (For instance, 70,000 rupees for the C-Class) will be blocked on your credit card during the tenure of the rent. Also, patrons seeking to use the Carzonrent service need to carry their passports and driving licenses, apart from their credit cards.

Currently, Carzonrent offers the self drive Mercedes Benz luxury cars in five Indian cities – Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. In the coming months, this service is expected to be rolled out across more Indian cities. The self drive car will be provided with a full tank of fuel. The car needs to be returned with a full tank of fuel. Failure to do so will result in the credit card of the user being charged, along with a 10 % surcharge on the amount of the fuel filled by Carzonrent. A similar self drive service – ZoomCar, has been offering luxury cars such as the BMW 3-Series sedan and the A-Class for a while now. ZoomCar’s self drive car fares are inclusive of fuel, and the service is cheaper than that of Carzonrent, especially when it comes to self driven luxury cars.
