Honda Cars India launched the new second-generation Amaze a couple of hours ago. The new Honda Amaze has a starting price of Rs 5,59,900. The top-end version costs Rs 8,99,900. Here, in this post, we have the new TVC for the second-generation Honda Amaze.
The TVC starts with a kid, who is playing in a lawn, getting surprised by a sudden shadow that’s fast approaching him. The next frame shows the cause of this shadow, which is a really giant size new-gen Amaze that seems to be driving across the town. After highlighting the new design of the car, the TVC takes you to the interior, where it shows car’s CVT and the steering-mounted paddle shifts. The video also gives a good view of the predominantly beige interior that’s also fairly spacious. Another highlight of the cabin is the Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment unit that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The video concludes with a tagline – ‘In life when you make it big, the world sees you differently’. Through this line, the advertisers want you to believe that the new Amaze is for those who’ve made it big. It also hints at the larger dimensions of the new car. The video finally concludes with a roof-top party that has some young corporate types celebrating together.
The all-new Honda Amaze comes with the same 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines that power the outgoing version of this car. The highlight here, however, is an optional CVT for both the engines. With this, the Honda Amaze becomes the first-ever diesel-powered mainstream sedan in the country to offer a CVT. The CVT variant offers steering-mounted paddle shifts. The new Honda Amaze also offers many new features, such as the aforementioned Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment unit. You also get a long list of safety features across all trims.
