Chevrolet launches limited edition Sail sedan and U-VA hatchback in India

Chevrolet had recently launched the limited edition version of the Enjoy MPV to boost sales in India. Now, the American car brand  has launched limited edition models of the Sail twins. Let us have a look at what exactly is Chevrolet offering on the new variants.

The Sail sedan in limited edition guise has been launched for Rs. 5.36 lakhs (ex-showroom, Thane). It gets limited edition graphics, limited edition badging, illuminated sill plates, seat covers and pillows, integrated indicator signals on the wing mirrors, rear parking sensors and to top it all off, a chrome garnish for the bootlid of the car.

Chevrolet is offering benefits worth Rs 30,000 with the car, which include cash and loyalty discounts. Accessories worth Rs. 15,600 are being offered as well. The Sail sedan retains the 4 cylinder-1.2 liter petrol motor with a 86 PS-113 Nm output and a 1.3 liter-4 cylinder turbo diesel motor with a 78 PS- 205 Nm output.

Joining the sedan will be its hatchback sibling, another car that has not been able to attract enough buyers. The hatchback has been launched at Rs 4.47 lakhs (ex-showroom, Thane). It gets similar features as its sedan sibling and shares the illuminated sill plates, integrated indicator signals on the wing mirrors, chrome garnishing on the bootlid, new seat covers and pillows with the Sail sedan.

Additional features on the Sail hatchback include are roof rails while the rear parking sensors are nixed. The car also get a limited edition badging on the bootlid and limited edition body graphics to go with the overall appeal. The engine options are bog similar to the Sail sedan. It gets the same petrol and diesel motors, in the same states of tune. The Sail U-VA competes with the likes of the Maruti Swift, Ford Figo and the Hyundai i20.
