Citroen C3 Aircross: Detailed image gallery of the upcoming SUV

French car manufacturer Citroen recently unveiled their upcoming mid-size SUV C3 Aircross in India. The manufacturer aims to compete with SUVs like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the segment. It is a highly competitive segment where pricing is extremely crucial. The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV will officially go on sale by the second half of 2023. We have seen several videos and images of Citroen C3 Aircross SUV online in the last couple of days. Here we have a detailed image gallery of the upcoming SUV Citroen C3 Aircross.

The Citroen C3 Aircross SUV’s front end resembles with other vehicles from the manufacturer. The SU V gets Y-shaped LED DRLs that are designed like an extension of the front grille.

The front grille of the SUV gets chrome garnish with the Citroen logo in the center. There are gloss black elements around the grille with an air dam below it. The upper LED DRL has a halogen turn indicator and parking lamp integrated into it.

The bumper of the SUV gets a muscular design with a silver skid plate at the bottom. This a faux skid plate and the halogen fog lamps are integrated into the bumper itself. The headlamps are halogen units too. The front design of the SUV is unmistakably Citroen.

Coming to the side profile, the main attraction here is the 4 spoke dual-tone alloy wheel. The SUV gets 17-inch alloy wheels with thick claddings around the wheel arch.

The Citroen C3 SUV is 4.3 metres long which is as long as Hyundai Creta which is one of the most popular SUV in the segment. On the side profile, you would notice details like the flap-type door handles, key hole indicating that the SUV does not come with a keyless entry feature.

Citroen C3 SUV comes with a C-shaped tail lamp which extends a bit to the rear fender of the SUV. There is a gloss black strip that runs across the boot of the car. The car comes with Citroen branding on the boot with C3 Aircross branding on the lower portion of the tailgate.

Just like the front, rear also gets a muscular-looking bumper with a silver faux skid plate. The bumper also has reflectors on it. An integrated roof spoiler, rear defogger and windscreen wiper are also available.

Citroen is offering C3 Aicross in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. In the 5-seater version, the SUV offers a boot space of the 5 seater version is 444 litres and the 7-seater version with third-row seats folded offers 347 litres of boot space.

Citroen offers a dual-tone colour option with C3 Aircross just like all other models in their line-up. The SUV misses sunroof which is quite common in SUVs in this segment. There are roof rails and a shark fin antenna on the roof.

The Interior of the C3 Aircross SUV looks similar to the C3 hatchback. It gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. The design of the AC vents are also similar to the hatchback. The SUV gets a flat bottom steering wheel with controls. The driver gets a dedicated armrest. The SUV misses on features like cruise control, push start/stop button, and automatic climate control as well. The instrument cluster on this SUV is a colour TFT display.

The seats are partially wrapped in leatherette material. The upper part of the seats is fabric.

The second-row passengers get 60:40 split seats. In the seven-seater version, the seats can be tumbled down to access the last row seat.

The third row seat is not very spacious and only has a very small window. With all three-row seats up, there is no useable space in the boot of the SUV.

Citroen C3 Aircross SUV is available only with a petrol engine option. The SUV will get a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine options that generate 110 Ps and 190 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Citroen does not offer an automatic transmission with the SUV yet.
