Citroen is preparing to launch its second vehicle in the Indian market. It will be called C3 and has been unveiled in the foreign market. Now, the manufacturer has also released pictures of the interior of the C3.
The highlight of the C3’s cabin is the floating 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is expected to support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There will be voice commands, USB ports for fast charging, 12V charging socket, multi-function steering wheel, cup holders and all power windows.
Moreover, there will be no automatic climate control on offer. It will come only with manual air conditioning with a heater. There will be no front armrest on offer. Also, we are also expecting the crossover to come with a digital instrument cluster. The controls for rear power windows are positioned in the rear of the centre console. This helps with cost savings.

The dashboard has a very unique and funky design. It is finished in a dual-tone paint shade of black and body colour. So, in the pictures, the dashboard is finished in blue and black just like the exterior colour. The earlier images showed the interior of the C3 being finished in orange and black. The central air conditioning vents are placed horizontally while the side ones are positioned vertically.
Previous images showed that the Citroen C3 will come with fixed headrests but the new pictures show that all four headrests are adjustable. The seats also get body-coloured accents and there was no armrest in the older pictures. We would have to wait for the official launch of the vehicle to know more information about the C3.
Exterior
Just like the interior, the exterior of the C3 is also quite funky. It gets different coloured accents based on the paint shade that you choose. In the new pictures, we can see that the C3 is finished in blue colour with white accents and roof. In the previous pictures, we have seen a white C3 with Orange accents and a roof.
There is thick plastic cladding that runs throughout the C3 and there are also roof rails to provide it with a rugged look. Up-front there are three lighting elements. There is the main headlamp that uses a halogen setup and a LED Daytime Running Lamp. There is an additional LED Daytime Running Lamp strip that sits above the headlamp cluster. Then there are fog lamps in the lower half of the bumper.
The A and B-pillar have been blacked-out to give C3 a floating roofline design. There are diamond-cut alloy wheels which we expect will measure 15-inches in size. At the rear, there are LED tail lamps and an upright tailgate. Citroen has given a chunky rear bumper with a faux skid plate.
Engine and gearbox
As of now, there is no information available about which engine and gearbox combo will Citroen use for the C3. According to the rumours, there will be a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that will produce around 100 PS. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
