The Indian auto market has a few special segments that no other country has. This is because of the tax exemption levied on cars less than 4-meters in length here, which has led to the development and popularity of sub-4 meter sedans and SUVs in the country. Most of the cars sold under these categories in India are generally a tad larger in size in the International markets. Talking of both these segments, if you are planning to buy a sub-4 meter sedan or SUV this month, here are all the models in both the categories with the discount offers on them.

Tata Tigor

Starting off the list is the Tata Tigor, which received a facelift a few months back. The Tigor is based on the Tiago hatchback and is one of the most affordable sedans on sale in India. It is being offered with discounts up to Rs. 48,000 this month. The discount scheme available on the car includes a cash discount worth Rs. 25,000 along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 20,000. Tata is also offering a corporate bonus worth Rs. 3,000 on the car right now.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire

Next in line is the segment’s bestseller, the Maruti Suzuki Dzire. It even was the best selling car of last year which was quite unexpected. As of now, the automaker is offering the Dzire with discount offers worth Rs. 42,5000. This includes a cash discount of Rs 20,000 along with Rs 20,000 being given away as exchange bonus. Moreover, an extra 2,500 are being handed over as corporate discount on the Dzire this month.

Volkswagen Ameo

Max. offer value: Rs. 1 lakh

The Volkswagen Ameo is getting the highest discount offers this month among all the cars in its segment. The German manufacturer is offering discount schemes worth up to Rs. 1 lakh on the sedan this month. The discount scheme on the automatic variants include Rs. 1 lakh worth of benefits in various schemes. On the manual variants, the sedan gets Rs. 30,000 as cash discount along with Rs. 20,000 as exchange bonus.

Honda Amaze

Offer available: Great aftersales service and warranty offers

The Amaze is the best selling Honda vehicle in India right now. The second best selling sub-4 meter sedan is currently being offered with various great aftersales schemes on it. For customers who exchange their old cars for the Amaze, Honda is offering an extended warranty for the 4th and 5th year along with an exchange bonus. For non-exchange, the manufacturer is offering a 3-year service maintenance package along with an extended warranty for the 4th and 5th year.

Hyundai Xcent

Max. offer value: Rs. 90,000

The sub-4 meter sedan offering from Hyundai is being offered with a discount value up to Rs. 90,000 this month. The Xcent rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Honda Amaze among others in its segment. Talking about the discount offers on the sedan, it gets a direct cashback worth Rs. 50,000 and an additional Rs. 30,000 as exchange bonus. For select MNC employees, the company is further offering a discount worth Rs. 10,000 while government employees get Rs. 5,000 discount too.

Ford Aspire

Max. offer value: Rs. 40,000

Ford’s answer to the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Hyundai Xcent in the form of the Aspire is also getting a decent discount worth Rs. 40,000 this month. The discount scheme on the sedan includes Rs. 25,000 worth of cashback along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 15,000. The Aspire received a facelift a few months ago and the company is currently working with Mahindra to launch the EV version of the sedan, though it will be a bit larger in length.

Sub-4 meter SUVs

Tata Nexon

Starting the list for the SUVs is again a Tata, this time a Nexon. The funky little SUV has become quite popular, though the recent onslaught by the Mahindra XUV300 has dimmed its flash. As for the discounts, Tata is offering discounts worth up to Rs. 38,000 on the car this month. This includes an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 along with a corporate bonus worth Rs. 3,000 for petrol variants. The diesel variants get a cash discount worth Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 20,000 in the form of exchange bonus along with Rs. 3,000 worth of corporate discount.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

The Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is the best-selling sub-4 meter SUV in India by quite a margin. It is currently being offered with discounts worth up to Rs. 33,000. The discount scheme on the Brezza includes a cash discount worth Rs. 15,000 along with an additional Rs. 15,000 being given as exchange bonus. Apart from this, the Vitara Brezza also gets a corporate bonus worth Rs. 3,000 on it right now.

Ford Ecosport

The Ford Ecosport is one of the earliest sub-4 meter SUV in India and rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Breza, Tata Nexon and Mahindra XUV300 among others. Honda WR-V

The Honda WR-V rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Mahindra XUV300 in its segment. The sub-4 meter crossover is being offered with a discount offer worth up to Rs. 40,000. The discount offer applicable on the WR-V includes free insurance for the first year which is worth Rs. 25,000. apart from this, Honda is also giving Rs. 15,000 as exchange bonus on the WR-V this month.

Mahindra TUV300

Max. offer value: Rs. 82,500

The ladder frame Mahindra TUV300 received a facelift recently. However, only the pre-facelifted models are available with a discount. The butch looking SUV is being offered with a total discount of Rs. 82,500 this month. This includes Rs 63,000 as cash discount across all the variants of TUV300 along with an additional exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. Apart from this, Mahindra is also offering a corporate bonus worth Rs. 4,500 on the SUV this month.
