Here is part-II of the list:
Jeep Compass
12th April (unveil only)
Jeep will be unveiling the Compass on the 12th. And when we say unveil, we mean we will be shown the Indian spec version. Pricing will follow in August though.
The new Compass will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine in India. The 4-cylinder engine will get 140 BHP of maximum power with 350 Nm of torque. The Compass gets monocoque body and fully independent suspension system that will make it an excellent off-road vehicle. The car will also get U-Connect infotainment system that gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. There will be six airbags, and other safety features including ABS, ESP, Hill Hold, reverse parking sensors with camera and more.
Jaguar XE
April
Jaguar will launch a diesel version of the XE this month. Currently, the XE is only on offer in petrol guise, in three trim levels. The XE is powered by a 2.0 liter turbo petrol engine currently. This will be joined by a 2.0 liter diesel engine later in the month. The 2.0 is the same Ingenium unit which is on the XF and F-Pace. It will most likely offer it in two states of tune, 163 Bhp and 180 Bhp, based on the variant.
Ford Figo Sport & Aspire Sport
19th April
Ford will launch a Sport variant of its popular hatchback and compact sedan, the Figo and Aspire. Changes include a new blacked out grille instead of the chrome grille which is currently on offer, new side decals, smoked headlamp cluster, black alloy wheels, and a new spoiler. We are not yet sure if there will be any changes under the hood or not. The Figo and the Aspire come with 2 petrol and one diesel engine option currently. The petrol is the 1.2 liter mated to a 5-speed manual or a 1.5 liter mated to a 6-speed DCT. The diesel is only on offer in manual guise.
Chevrolet Beat
May
Amidst rumours that the company was going to shut its Indian operations, Autocar India is reporting that they will launch the new Beat next month. The Beat is the smallest car in their line up currently and it will get a major update. Changes include new looks and new interiors. This may also be the cheapest car to get Apple Car play, when it is introduced in May.
