Mahindra has already opened exclusive Mojo dealerships in India. The company has said that they are currently working to develop an Adventure motorcycle based on the Mojo. The motorcycle will take on the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, which has tasted good success in the market.

Mahindra showcased the Mojo ADV during the Auto Expo and will bring the motorcycle to the market by end of this year. Mojo’s engine is a lot smoother than the Himalayan and the motorcycle will be a perfect rival. The engine will be the same 294.72cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder unit that produces a maximum of 26.82 BHP at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm of maximum torque.

Tork T6X

Expected launch date: October 2017

Price: Rs. 1.25 lakh

The Pune-based firm has unveiled India’s first fully-electric motorcycle. The motorcycle will be powered by Li-ion battery and will have a maximum range of 100 km. The batteries charge to full in about 2 hours and Tork says that the battery attains 80% of charge in just one hour. The company is also working to install charging stations in the Pune city first and then the motorcycle will be launched at the other major cities of the country.

BMW G310 GS

Expected launch date: November 2017

Estimated price: Rs. 2.8 lakh

This will be the smallest GS series from the BMW. The motorcycle has been developed by the BMW Motorrad and will be manufactured at the TVS India plant. The G310 GS will get many signature features of the GS series like the front beak, radiator shrouds, headlamp cowl and the tank design. The motorcycle will be the powered by the same 313cc, 34 BHp-28 Nm engine and will get a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle just weighs 169.5 kg and will be one of the best touring motorcycle available in the country.

Bajaj Dominar Scrambler

Expected launch date: November 2017

Estimated price: Rs. 1.5 lakh

Bajaj has just launched the Dominar 400 in the market and it has been receiving good feedback. The motorcycle will get the same 373cc engine that develops a maximum of 35 BHP and 35 Nm of maximum power. The motorcycle will also get a slipper clutch. There will be many other models based on the Dominar but the Scrambler will be the first of them.

Husqvarna Vitpilen 401

The Husqvarna will enter the Indian market soon. The Swedish motorcycle brand owned by KTM looks very sharp and different. The motorcycle will share the same 373cc liquid-cooled engine of the Dule 390 that produces a maximum of 43.5 BHP. The features include WP mono shock, same as the KTM 390 Duke. There will be disc brake at the front and rear with Bosch dual channel ABS as standard.
