What’s new: Automatic Gearbox

The premium hatchback Hyundai i20 will soon get an automatic gearbox. The car will get the same gearbox that is also available with the Grand i10. The four-speed auto transmission will be mated with a bigger, 1.4-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 90 Bhp of maximum power.

The 1.4-litre four-cylinder diesel engine will continue to be powered by 89 Bhp engine with six-speed manual transmission. The automatic version of the car will be launched around the festive season.

What’s new? Length, engine

Mahindra is working on a sub 4-metre version of the Bolero. The mini SUV will take tax benefits and will be very competitively priced to gain the lost market. The new Bolero will be almost Rs. 70,000 cheaper than the current Bolero without compromising on interior space.

The new Bolero will be powered by 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine. It is the same engine that powers the TUV300 but with the Bolero, the engine will produce less power and more fuel efficient. The maximum power will be around 70 Bhp while the torque will peak at 195 Nm.

What’s new: Engine, Features

The more powerful Balneo was showcased during the Auto Expo 2016 and has been caught testing quite a few times. The Baleno RS is the sportier version of the Baleno and will be launched in October this year.

The car will come with a body kit, bi-xenon headlamps, and RS moniker on the outside to differentiate it from the regular Baleno. Powering the car will be a 1-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 111 Bhp.

Tata Hexa


What’s new? Aria replacement, all-new car

The Hexa has been under development for a long time now. The car will replace the Tata Aria and looks like an improved Aria. The Hexa actually looks like a promising product and will be launched by the end of this year.

The Hexa will be powered by the 2.2-litre Varicor 400 engine that generates a maximum of 154 Bhp and 400 Nm of torque. It will have a choice of manual and automatic transmission and will also offer 2WD and 4WD options.

What’s new: Major facelift

The new Etios will soon come to India. The car has been already spied testing in the country and carries design changes on the outside and inside of the car. On the outside, the car will get a new grille that changes the look of the car completely. It will also feature newly revised bumper, and new alloy wheels.

On t he inside, the new Etios will get new infotainment system, new steering wheel design, cruise control, and new instrument cluster. The facelift Etios will continue to use the current 1.5-litre petrol engine and the 1.4-litre diesel engine.
