Mahindra Scorpio Getaway
Mahindra has a customization program where you can order customized versions of any Mahindra. The Getaway has a modified bonnet, auxiliary lamps at the front & the roof, custom front bumpers & custom inlets on the side scoops with mesh.
The Thar always had a rugged & macho appeal. This one takes it to an all new level. Showcased at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, this Thar features a factory fitted winch which is attached to a new bumper that adds protection to the radiator. The Thar gets special tyres which enhance the ground clearance of the car. The lights get an LED treatment for a more aggressive look.
The Bolero is more of a utilitarian oriented vehicle. The Stinger though adds a dash of sportiness to otherwise boring to look at vehicle. So the Bolero loses out on the third row of seats & with it the roof above it as well. Other changes include alloy wheels, custom tail lamp cluster. The inside gets a premium treatment with a combination of leather & suede. The door trim has also been redesigned to incorporate a bottle & map holder.
Isuzu Dmax V Cross
Isuzu has just launched the D max V Cross in India & the pick up already has gotten a lot of attention. At the 2016 Auto Expo, Isuzu had a rally version on display. The car had a reworked suspension that increased ground clearance, a new front skid plate with a winch. There is also a snorkel if you encounter a water crossing.
Force Motors builds the Gurkha for customers looking for a true blue off-roader. This, the RFC Gurkha has been built specifically to compete in the Rain Forest Challenge (RFC) event. The car is powered by the Mercedes sourced TD 2200 CRDi engine making 140 Bhp & 320 Nm. There is an all new front & rear suspension with long travel shock absorbers & strengthened axles to improve the solidity of the car. Large 37″ rims give the car an aggressive look. The axles have been modified & now have electronic diff locks that are adjustable by the driver via a switch in the cockpit.
