Hyundai launched the all-new Creta in the Indian market last year. It is currently the best-selling model from the brand. Just before the introduction of the all-new seven-seater Alcazar in the Indian market, Hyundai has increased the price of the Creta. This is the third time that Hyundai has announced a price increment of the Creta since its launch in the Indian market.

The base of the Creta still starts at Rs 9.99 lakh. The top-end 1.5 SX(O) AT diesel is the top-end version of the car. It is priced at Rs 17.62 lakh, which makes it the most expensive variant of the car.
The Creta has become one of the highest-grossing vehicles in the market. Since its launch, Hyundai has sold over 1.21 lakh units of the vehicle till March 2021. A total of 5.8 lakh units of the Creta since it was first launched in India has been sold by the brand. Hyundai has also shipped 2.16 lakh units of the Creta model since its launch in India.

As per Hyundai, 60% of buyers of the SUV chose the diesel variants. While 51% of buyers are opting for the SX automatic while 20% of customers chose the SX(O) trim. The cabin of the all-new Creta gets thoroughly updated too. To start with the new massive 10.25-inch infotainment screen with BlueLink connected technology. The 7.0-inch Supervision instrument cluster is all-digital and offers a premium look to the car. The top-end variants will also offer an 8-speaker system from Bose and features like Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, wireless charging and a massive panoramic sunroof. The car also offers an ambient lighting system, air purifier and more.
The all-new Hyundai Creta comes powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 115 PS and a peak torque of 144 Nm. It offers a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic transmission. The petrol engine returns a maximum of 16.8 km/l with the manual and 16.9 km/l with the automatic version.
The 1.5-litre diesel engine powered Hyundai Creta generates a maximum of 115 PS and a peak torque of 250 Nm. It also offers a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor. With the manual transmission, it offers a maximum of 21.4 km/l and with automatic, it offers a maximum of 18.5 km/l. The most powerful Hyundai Creta gets powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine. It generates a maximum power of 140 PS with 242 Nm of peak torque. It only gets a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission and returns a maximum of 16.8 km/l
