Successful cricketers live a lavish life in India and drive around in expensive cars. However, most cricketers are from humble backgrounds where they lead a very common lifestyle. Here are two pictures of Prithvi Shaw, the young cricketer during his childhood days and present.
Prithvi recently bought a BMW 6-Series last year. Reportedly, he gifted the white coloured 6-Series to his father. A picture of Prithvi Shaw on the pillion seat of a Yamaha Libero is becoming viral to show the stark difference between the two times.

The old picture that shows the Yamaha Libero also shows Prithvi’s father. It looks like Prithvi’s father is taking him to the cricket practice. There is a cricket kit lying on the fuel tank while Prithvi is on the pillion seat. We are not sure about the exact year in this picture but it is easily a decade old.
In the second picture, Prithvi Shaw and his father are posing with the new BMW 6-Series. The collage of the pictures is now becoming viral on the Internet.
Prithvi Shaw plays for the Indian cricket team and made headlines when he was only 14 years old. The young cricketer slammed 546 runs off 330 balls in a domestic game, which made him very popular.
Prithvi Shaw’s BMW 6-Series
The cricketer bought the new BMW 6 Series last year. It is available only in the GT variant and is priced at Rs 70 lakh without the road taxes. He owns the 630i M Sport variant which is the facelifted version of the car that came to the Indian market in April.
The new BMW 6-Series sure is quite futuristic. It comes with sleek headlamps with BMW’s laser system. The new LED DRLs add a new identity to the sedan. It also gets a new touchscreen infotainment system that can sense the gestures of the occupants.
The car also comes with a host of features. It includes a cruise control system, automatic parking, four-zone climate control system, electrically adjustable front seats and headrests, 360-degree parking camera, soft closing doors and a massive panoramic sunroof.
There are multiple engine options available with the new BMW 6-Series GT. There is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 258 PS and a peak torque of 400 Nm. There is a four-cylinder 2.0-litre diesel engine as well and it generates a maximum power of 190 PS and peak torque of 400 Nm. The most powerful engine option is the 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 265 PS and peak torque of 620 Nm. All three engine types are available with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission from ZF.
